I love this auto change valve it on make changes from one bottle to the other. Then when you see the red, you just go get a new bottle and change the bottles out and then flip the valve over and then repeat the process. There’s no having to go out mainly change it.

I bought this instead of the marine version for 3x the price, removed the outlet fittings (must carefully use a heat gun), installed Ts with a pair of nice 0-300psi stainless steel gauges (reviewed elsewhere), and moved the reverse flare fittings to the downside of the Ts.Result is way better than the marine version and half the price. Mounted on a pair of 17# Viking fiberglass tanks also from amazon. A fine setup.

I installed this on my trailer about a year ago. It worked wonderfully. Then, I accidentally broke it as I was packing my rig for a weekend getaway. (My Bad) While shopping for a replacement, I thought I'd research for a better replacement and couldn't find anything. It's a quick & simple installation, easily view the status of your fuel and switching tanks without turning everything off is very convenient. (Two Thumbs Up!)

I really liked this regulator when I installed it in March 2016. The empty tank indicators are nice and visible and operation was intuitive. Switchovers occurred flawlessly. Unfortunately it stopped recognizing full cylinders during the fourth camping trip of the season. Amazon does not offer a warranty on this product after 2 months from purchase.

***UPDATE***Just went through a power outage due to hurricane Micheal, was out of power since about noon as it was hitting the coast. This regulator is awesome, and performed flawlessly! One tank emptied, the gauge was indicative of that, it automatically switched to the other tank. I was able to disconnect the empty cylinder, get it refilled, never loosing generator power to my house, it is literally worth it's weight time ten thousand in gold.Excellent product used this in combination with Trident Marine 1014-1401-20 L.P. Gas Pigtail Hose, 20", POL Fitting Trident Marine 1014-1401-20 L.P. Gas Pigtail Hose, 20", POL Fitting as a system to supply propane to a portable generator as a backup system to power my home in the event of a power outage. Tested the ability to do a switch over with no problem, also tested the safety feature " Overpressure Protection Device: Limits environmental propane release in case of regulator malfunction to a value less than 2 psi, significantly lower than that mandated by UL standard 144"This device has functioned flawlessly. You can also switch an empty tank out and still use the other tank (full) go get your empty refilled come back and hook it up without interruption.

This worked well for us on 2-100lb LP gas tanks. It is set to auto-switch when one tank empties -- which is helpful but I keep one tank off to manage the valve manually so I can be made aware when one tank goes empty in order to get a refill ordered while still using the remaining full tank. Been using all season and no problems whatsoever. Be sure to get your LP yellow valve tape (i.e. LA-CO Slic-Tite PTFE Gas Line Pipe Thread Tape, Premium Grade, -450 to 550 Degree F Temperature, 260" Length, 1/2" Width, 4 mil Thickness, Yellow ) if you are installing yourself.
