Great use for simple sports events

I bought this product because I teach school and was having a contest for two classes on who could generate the most revenue on their digital marketing simulation project. I needed 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons for each of two classes and this product came with exactly that.I didn’t want something that was going to be a lightweight plastic and look cheap. These were rather heavy medals and were impressive for the price. I teach college and the students loved them!

They are a good solid metal. Easy to engrave on the back side for our Pinewood Derby. I would totally buy these again.Update: I have in fact bought these again for our Cub Scouts BSA Pinewood Derby for our pack. This time I used an actual electric engraver for a deeper engraving than previously. They still looks awesome and the boys were proud to wear them. No issues at all. No tarnishing or turning colors since we gave the first ones out too so they are good quality.Included 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. Ribbons attached.

I decided to have a family/nieghborhood Summer Olympics day and bought these for the kids. After the games the kids were so excited about receiving medals. The happiness on there faces was priceless when passing these medals out to all of them. We of course made sure we held events that ensured everyone would get at least a few medals each. It worked out beautifully and these medals are solid metal and heavy not light and plastic. The age of the kids ranged from 9-14 and yes even the 13 and 14 year olds had a blast. My wife went over a couple of our neighbors homes a month to 2 months later and one child decorated her room with those medals the other child had them neatly hung up on the walls. Another child proudly displayed his medals around his neck for 2 weeks outside around the neighborhood before hanging them up inside the home. Our kids absolutely loved them. Our youngest daughter wore hers everywhere we went and in the house for three weeks. I will definitely buy these again next year and have decided to hold an annual Olympics Day every year now. One of the best purchases I have enjoyed in a long time.
