Your cart is empty. The CE Smith Guide-On Post Pontoon is the perfect solution for easy and safe loading of your pontoon boat onto your trailer. Made with marine-grade, pre-galvanized steel, these guide poles are built to last and withstand the harsh conditions of boating and fishing. The guide poles mount on top of the rear cross member and fit in between the pontoons to center your boat on the trailer. The mounting hardware is included, making installation a breeze. The 1-1/2" square 16 gauge pre-galvanized steel uprights and 2-3/8" diameter white PVC posts can fit up to 3" W x 4-1/4" H frames, ensuring a universal fit for most pontoon boats. These guide poles stand 22" high, providing ample clearance for your boat to safely load onto the trailer. These guide poles can be used with all types of boat trailers and will make loading and unloading your boat a breeze.

Very simple to install. I drilled 2 additional holes thru the pvc guides into the uprights and screwed the pvc in place to prevent loss or theft.

Our trailer has guide bunks for about 8’ located in the middle of the trailer. This allowed enough swing at the stern for the pontoons not to settle properly into the bunks at times. Installing these guide posts at the rear has solved this issue and made loading the boat as stress free as loading a boat can ever be. I highly recommend if your pontoon boat doesn’t load easily.

We place one set of these on our boat lift to help guide our pontoon boat onto the lift. It was perfect. We then ordered a second set to place on the forward end of the lift. It is a game changer. Highly recommend these. Instlation was simple. Especially after you realize there are multiple ways to configure the U bolts.

Product does as expected, assists in guiding pontoon onto trailer. Leave 1-2 inches between pontoon and guide when installing but not so much room that you can miss your tail when loading. I may add a second set for steeper launches

Pontoon Boat guides are made from a strong and sturdy product. Install instructions show mounting from center towards outside but because of my small trailer frame size I had to mount outside frame to center. Guides then fit fine and are a slow process to install if you do not have deep socket but lock nuts do eventually secure the brackets in place.Good product and it should simplify my loading pontoon into trailer saddles.
