I was sceptical about the Akuna Ceiling Hoist due to some reviews. However, after watching the installation guide I decided to purchase it. You need to simultaneously lift the load and pull on the strapping to lift. I can see if you did not do this, trouble. It is important to remember to hold the strap during lowering and NOT the cargo. So a few things to know, however, overall a great product.

Unfortunately, I had asked two different people at separate times to try to install this for me the written instructions and video were not clear and by the time we installed it my return date had passed. When we finally installed it broke, the weight of the object was less than 30 lbs. description said it was good up to 150 lbs.

This worked great. The box had instructions and there is a video as well. Our cargo pod is safely out of the way!
