The fully multi-coated lenses provide maximum light transmission through the entire optical path, resulting in brighter, sharper images even in low light conditions. The high-quality BaK-4 prisms are phase-coated to increase the contrast and resolution. Nearby subjects like plants and insects are easy to view with a close focus of just 9.8 feet. These binoculars also allow the pursuit of distant subjects with 12x magnification and 56mm objective lenses to easily acquire and follow your subject, no matter the distance. The Nature DX 12x56 body has been specifically designed to endure your travels thanks to its lightweight polycarbonate housing, which protects the binocular from damage. The binocular is 100 percent waterproof and purged with nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of the lenses in wet conditions. Rubber armor ensures durability, and the twist-up eyecups with multi-stop function allow for proper positioning of the eyes, even for eyeglass wearers! I would give 4.5 stars. Pretty good for the price. Magnification appears to be 12, The image is pretty clear and bright. The IPD inter-pupillary distance is good for the people with small faces too (minimum is 56 mm). Would have been nice to have ED lenses, there is some chromatic aberrations (purple color), at the edge but not so bad. All in all they are good

I’ve done some research trying to not break the bank to find a pair of binos for my daughter to work on her scouts astronomy badge. These fit the bill perfectly, she loves them!

I purchased this item as a birthday gift for my wife, her previous pair was some left to her by her late father. She consistently raves about the clarity of the lenses and the ease of the focus power. Highly recommend.

I am happy with these Celestron – Nature DX 10x42 Binoculars. They collect light well and provided a clear, sharp picture. There was some color loss in strong light near sunset and they had just a little blurring near the edges of the view. I can feel their weight when hung around my neck, but would be lightweight to carry in a backpack or in a hip pack. I recommend these field glasses.

These are great to handle, and work beautifully in decent light. For watching wildlife, these are perfect. They are light, well balanced and easy to use.Not suitable for astronomy though, they have some coma and other aberrations which is very visible when looking at small/point light sources like stars and planets. Understandable, but I was a little disappointed.

I wear glasses and have far more experience with rifle scopes. That being said what little bird watching i have done along with squirrels and other botanical looking about it seems to have a pretty darn clear sight picture with spot on focus and fairly good color. You can spend more for some ED glass. However i am on a budget & if i am shelling out $$$ for ED optics it is going to be for a camera lens as 8 of 10 times i will be switching to a camera & i do not hunt or even target shoot any more so binoculars are what i am carrying with my camera. I have owned just a few cheap binoculars and used a few others and these seem to be the best i have used in this size class and yes some lower power with VERY close focus and better glass.Everything is a cost and quality compromise & i would say these are a very solid choice for serious nature watching and even come close to being pretty good for looking at the moon, but that's what my 15x70 are for. I am a big person though and the weight is no issue though for some people who plan on all day use a less heavy set of binoculars or better glass if these are more integral to your plans for them. For me though i like the power and eye relief & seemingly rugged construction and the light transmission seems quite good as well as i have not noticed many serious light issues and without going into much boring detail i have used some rifle scopes & binoculars that are much worse as well as camera lenses though most of those are far better and cost much more. Bottom line you might get lucky with some more obscure brand and find a better buy, but i have found like with everything else you should do your own research. Or you can just take the recommendation of bird watchers who say these are good and just buy these and see if they are what you want. The reason you have so many choices is that preferences in optics can be quite individual. So whatever you choose i wish you sucess in finding what is best suited to your needs.

These binos perform even better than my Nikon ones, they are clear and light weight. Quality is amazing.

I bought this binoculars in Feb 2022 for birding. The picture quality, range is great and this is my go to pair over another brand I used to treasure. That's not the only reason i 'd recommend. Roof prisims are hard to fix, especially in india, a great after sales is i portant. Mine started developing a double vision during a field trip in april, I reached out to local stores for help but since it's a roof prism, this was not possible. I found A & S creations to be the folks covering for warranty for celestron products after speaking to celestrons' US support channel. I was not too optimistic but reached out and to my pleasant surprise, I was asked to ship my product for a replacement immediately. I got a brand new one within 2 weeks. Later this year in November 2022 I had a focussing issue with my binoculars during another field trip and i again reached out to service folks at A & S creations. And again they have replaced my binoculars with a brand new one since it's under warranty. The image I have attached is from this second replacement to show you that's its brand new !! Absolutely no hassles, no back and forths, just an email to the service email-id with the Amazon receipts. An employee, Ms. Mahi, reached out to me personally giving me details, kept me informed about timelines and got the product replaced both times !! I am super pleasantly surprised at the kind of service being offered by A & S creations and celestron for choosing this partner locally for their service. Great product and even greater after sales support !

TOP!

I got the 8x42. Its excellent clarity and small form allows me to bring my dslr with a 150-600mm lens into the field without feeling like I'm lugging stuff around.

Decent binoculars, and for many people that would seem great, except if you have ever used Leica binoculars. Unfortunately I have two pair of Leica binoculars, and they are so much clearer, and have so much better color. Leica binoculars cost a fortune (three to ten TIMES as much), but they are clearly better. If you have $150 for binoculars, these are not bad. If you have $1000, buy Leica binoculars. (Leica Trinovids are also better than Nikon.)

I have been needing a new pair of binocs for a long time, yet every time I "looked" into them... the price tag of good ones scared me off.Well thanks to Amazon's sale the other day, I finally got what I needed at a good price. After reading the reviews, I knew these must be a good pair... but I was not expecting them to be AMAZING!I kid you not, these are incredible.... & they are truly the perfect pair of binoculars for me...as they are just right in every regard...They are powerful enough to get face to face with whatever you are looking at, yet not too big & heavy so that the image becomes hard too stabilize. And any smaller, they would not be powerful enough... and the green color is spot on for me...like I said, they really are perfect.I have never seen such a clear image in ANY binoculars...ever.That's not to say I am an "expert" in bino's... but I have seen enough to know exceptional quality when I see it.There is just something about them, that makes looking into the forest on a sunny summer day magical...as the image seems to be in HD, like it has extra clarity... it really is something that has to be seen 1st hand to fully understand what I am trying to impart.I am glad I waited so long to get a pair.... as these were worth the wait! The Celestron 71333 Nature DX 10x42 is a solid 5 star general... highly recommended.

As I expected, the Celestron people have broadened their product line to include binoculars, whereas previously they had been the producer of quality astronomical equipment. I hope that they might be able to successfully manage the production of fine optics in China. I have been very pleased thus far with this purchase -- reasonably priced. The fit and finish is very well done, as well as the accoutrements accompanying. Very nice focusing action that is practically equal to more expensive 10 x 42s. I did note that the image at the extreme edge was negligibly blurred, but certainly did not affect the center of the image -- all of which was crystal clear. The oculars were large, and I really like their width.Lastly, I really like the green, rubberized protective coating. VERY PLEASED.....
