The booster is okay. I don't seem to get too much more reception from it, but it does seem to give a little more. I'm not sure if it is due to the antenna or my location. It seems to work partially, but not as I would have expected.

We live in the woods, surrounded by 100'+ pine trees. We have a Verizon MIFI for our internet. This booster took our signal from 2 to 4 bars which is huge for us more than doubling our speeds. Installing and setting up a booster is not difficult. Running the wires takes the most time depending on your installation. I have our antenna mounted on a 20' pole which takes it above our roof line. You do need to tune the antenna to your nearest tower which is easy to do using your cell phone and only takes minutes. You need to understand these boosters, all of them, need a basic signal to work, they boost a signal, not create it. When out signal drops to 1 bar this booster or any other booster do not work. You have to have a good basic signal to start with. This booster has no display, but it has indicator lights. I like a display should you have a signal issue the display lets you easily see where the issue is occurring, but a display adds to the price. If you need more signal you need to give a booster a try. I would buy again. 5 STARS

We live in a city of approx. 130 K people. We have Verizon cell service and seem to be in a "dead zone" even though there are 3 cell towers within a 2 mile radius. Our house is in a flat area with a fair number of trees. We both have Apple 8+ iPhones.Recently the cell service has gone from poor to worse and we routinely get 0 to 1 bar with lots of dropped or interrupted calls. I had high hopes this product would address the problem. We have a WeBoost cell booster on an RV and it works well so i expected the same with this product.The instructions were OK for a Chinese product but there were still questions. It states the outdoor antenna should be "32 feet" away from the indoor antenna. Problem is we have a 2 story house and determining the distance (line-of-sight??) is not at all straight forward through multiple walls and roof surfaces. Can it be less or more - what is better and why?? It also mentioned the outdoor antenna should be placed where the reception is 2 - 3 bars. If i had that kind of reception i would not need this cell booster. Installed this product and the lights on the indoor unit never operated like the instructions called out. It looks like they changed the design of the product without updating the instructions?? For example the instructions show a power LED toward the center of indoor antenna. This never did light up but an LED near one corner labelled POWER did illuminate.Reception did not change until i got on the roof and rotated the antenna. We used 2-way radios with my wife in the house to maximize the signal strength. Best we could do was increase the reception to 2 bars. This seems fairly stable in the house now so i think our interruption/dropped call problem may be solved. Unclear if a different product would have provided better service or if the Verizon coverage is just poor where we live.I rated this product as average because it did help but not by a lot.

Was a little skeptical going into it but it did indeed work. Went from 0-1 bars of service to full for most of the house. You do have to run the included coax cable from an externally mounted antenna to the box inside of the house so you might have to get creative with that (normal for any install like this or cable, etc). Some might not be comfortable with that as a DIY and in that case you could probably run the cable under a garage service door or similar. Once you get past the install, it's excellent!
