This cell phone booster has made a huge difference in our home. Before, both my AT&T and my spouse’s Verizon service were unreliable, rarely getting more than two bars. Now, we can actually move around the house without losing signal, and I can finally work from home without constant dropouts. However, installing this is not for the faint of heart—you’ll likely need to climb onto the roof, possibly into the attic, and do some drilling if you want a clean setup. If that sounds daunting, I’d recommend hiring help through Thumbtack or TaskRabbit. Once it’s up and running, though, the improvement is well worth it!

If you need a signal boost and are not afraid to get your hands dirty this is a great option. You will be required to create cable paths and a good bit of drilling is involved but for a remote location that struggled with cell signal this was a turning point. We were able to get good reliable signal and not be stuck with landlines for our only form of communication.

We love our home, but its placement is precisely in a dead spot - outside of cell tower coverage. Some of our cell phones can use Wi-Fi calling. We bought this product to ensure communication if our internet goes down, for emergencies (we do have a generator for power). It is a bit of a job to install: you must mount at the top/corner of your attic, and run wiring from it.
