This booster kept be connected along my routes where I normal hit dead zones. It was easy to setup, but you do have to be sure this will fit your vehicle. It's not for smaller, compact cars, but any SUV or truck should be fine. Not only does it work as stated, but I was getting 4 bars in areas that I would normally not have service. Quite amazing.Very highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic product! Installation was a breeze—super easy with detailed instructions that made setup straightforward. I got this for when we head up north to a scouting campground in Northern Wisconsin, where cell service is practically nonexistent (almost zero bars). With this booster, I now get full bars!It works exactly as advertised, boosting both 4G LTE and 5G across all major U.S. carriers. The HD smart display is a great feature, making it easy to monitor signal strength and ensure everything is running optimally. If you frequently travel to remote areas, off-road, or just struggle with weak signal, this is a must-have! Works perfectly for us, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing reliable connectivity in the boonies. 🚀📶

To The PointStronger performance and better reliability compared to the SF-S2, making it a solid choice for off-road use.My OpinionThis SF-S1 model does a noticeably better job at boosting weak signals compared to the SF-S2. The HD smart display is useful for monitoring performance, and it works well across multiple Canadian carriers. Reception stays more stable, even in remote areas, which is great for off-road trips. Installation was straightforward, and call quality noticeably improved. While no booster is perfect in all situations, this one delivers better consistency than its predecessor. My VerdictI’d give this 4.5 out of 5 stars for its improved signal boosting, ease of use, and solid performance in off-road conditions. A great option for travelers.I hope this helps!Cheers,Straight Shooter

Based on my impression of the quality of the components and hardware in this kit, this is a first rate product. The instructions are broken down into minuscule steps, and as long as you read carefully, I can't imagine anyone would have a tough time getting this up and running. The instructions include a lot of very technical information about evaluating the signal you phone and the unit are receiving. To be honest, I don't understand all the stuff about oscillation, etc. What I can tell you is that after setting up the external antenna, and the rest of the unit, the bars on my phone went from one to five.I set this up at home (where we get one bar service on ATT) to test it out. While I don't have a degree in computer science or electrical engineering, I am not totally without any technical acumen. The display provides data that, at this moment, eludes me. My estimation of this products effectiveness is based solely on the bars my phone registers. Going from one to five bars makes me think "very effective."This thing isn't cheap. The one thing that I suggest you really consider is how you will run a cable from the exterior of your vehicle in the cabin. You'll want to keep that watertight. Other than that, this is an amazingly simple item to install and operate.

This cell phone booster is the real MVP for anyone hitting those off-grid trails or rural backroads. Setting it up in my SUV was straightforward with the included instructions, and the HD smart display is a major win—it’s simple to navigate and keeps you in the loop about your signal status. Once the booster was up and running, I immediately noticed a difference. Dead zones that used to be a constant headache during camping trips are now less of a problem. The omni-directional antenna is built to take on the elements, which came in clutch during a recent road trip through some unpredictable weather. Despite heavy rain and a bit of off-roading, the booster stayed intact and kept the signal steady. Whether I was on a call or streaming music, there were no annoying drops or buffering, and that’s saying something when you’re driving through the middle of nowhere.I tested it across multiple devices today and the booster handled them like a champ—my family was able to stay connected without fighting over who gets to use the stronger signal. It works seamlessly across carriers, too, so it doesn’t matter if you’re on Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile. The frequency band switch makes it super versatile, and it’s compatible with both 4G and 5G, which future-proofs it for years of use.If you’re someone who loves exploring but hates losing touch with the outside world, this booster bridges that gap effortlessly. It’s built tough for rugged environments and adds serious value to any road trip setup. This is a solid pick for staying connected no matter where the road takes you.

This idea that this just "goes in quick" and "just works" is a bit overstated. The initial install into a Rivian R1S was difficult, possibly due to all of the aluminum construction which acts like a waveguide. The instructions detail the process for dealing with oscillations and recommended antenna placement, but I noticed almost immediately that the receiving antenna and the internal panel antenna needs to be much further apart than the recommended in order to actually get improved reception vs. impairment on the devices in the car. I'll say that again - if you don't get the antennas placed properly, this system can actually impair your connectivity instead of improving it. Keep that in mind during setup. The kit is very well packed and comes with everything you need to make this work. About the only issue that doesn't get any coverage in the manual is the penetration into the vehicle for the antenna wire. This isn't something you just want to "slam" in the door seal as it will affect the seal, possibly damage the coax cable and ruin the impedance of the antenna. That's the one part that requires 'advanced' planning.Antenna placement's very easy, but I did seal the connectors around the outside antenna with marine-grade heat shrink tubing just to make sure there's no chance for water to get in.The FCC ID (2A34B-SFZN007) for this device is registered to Shenyang Sanfeng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd and was granted in 8/25/2024, so this is very new hardware. The internal photos should be available on the FCC's site sometime in February 2025 for those interested. The warning label on the amplifier is important:-----------------------------------This is a CONSUMER deviceBEFORE USE, you MUST REGISTER THIS DEVICE with your wireless provider and haveyour provider's consent. Most wireless provider consent to the use of signalboosters. Some providers may not consent to the use of this device on their network. If you are unsure, contact your provider. In Canada, BEFORE USE You must meet allrequirements set out in ISED CPC-2-1-05. You MUST operate this device with approvedantenna and cables as specified by the manufacturer. Antennas MUST be installed atleast 20cm (8 inches) from (i.e., MUST NOT be installed within 20 cm of) any person. You MUST cease operating this device immediately if requested by the FCC or alicensed wireless service provider. You MUST cease operating this device immediately if requested by the ISED or alicensed wireless service provider.! WARNING. E911 location information may not be provided or may be inaccurate forcalls served by using this device.-----------------------------------If you're going to install this for permanent use, I'd recommend using thread locker on the external antenna parts and remember to lower the antenna when you don't need the amplifier. I also couldn't tell if the amp 'automatically' shuts down gain and transmission when the antenna's lowered, but it probably should. It's up to you to make sure you turn off the amp when you're not actively using this device. One final note: I'd say there's a 50% chance that this device will actually impair cell phone communications rather than helping them - and a lot of that has to do with antenna placement. Cell towers can block receiver nodes that "cause gain problems" for some period of time, so if you notice the device just stops working when you're testing it, you might have been temporarily blocked. I initially thought my amp was bad, but it just got blocked for ~15 minutes and then I was able to continue installation and adjustment.Yes, I would recommend this product - if you're willing to take the time to get it adjusted correctly for your application. It works great, but it took me 6 hours to get this working right.

I temporarily set up this Cell Phone Booster from APlusBoost on my SUV (not on the vehicle it's going to be permanently set) in an area with a pretty reliable signal. I won't be able to test this properly for another couple of months or so.My initial impressions were surprisingly good. My device didn't run any faster or slower (about 300Mb/s on 5G), I wasn't expecting it to, but the connection was certainly stronger. In an area with an already strong (about -95db) signal and to see a stronger signal was certainly a pleasant surprise. It wasn't much stronger (-90db) but it helped to assess whether the booster would work effectively. The temporary set up was pretty easy to do, and it looks like the permanent set up is, too. The screen is clear and sharp and gives you all the info you need to be able aim and confirm the signal boost.Although the differences are slight due to being in an area with an already reasonable signal, I am very impressed with the performance of this Cell Booster so far. I can't wait to test it properly in a couple of months on my next camping trip where I already know there is poor connection. Will re-review in March. Initial score is 5/5
