Every so often I run into a situation where powder coating or paint on a given electrical box has clogged up the screw holes. The easy and complete solution is the Century Drill & Tool 95004 Machine Screw Tap. For me, the 6-32NC works to clear and clean out the screw holes so I can attach single pole light switches easily without stripping the threads of the 6-32 screws.

Cleaned out the the threads on my PC case perfectly, great price. Make sure not to use this on the M3 holes or 4-40 holes common on water cooling mounts.

Snapped easier than expected when used with a hand tap wrench. I used oil and was careful to twist forward and back to clean the chips out. Spent the next hour trying to punch the broken tip out of the hole.
