These are perfect sized egg cups for standard large eggs. They are well made and look beautiful and elegant on the plate. Definitely worth the price. I would recommend getting porcelain egg spoons to go along with them as well. As a French chef we're taught the metal changes the flavor of the egg. Besides that they are small enough to get into the egg without breaking it. I would also suggest a egg top breaker. 😋 All combined around these perfect egg holds. And for perfect soft boiled eggs to put into these great egg holders... take a pin a poke a hole in the large end of the egg, put eggs into rapidly boiling water, boil vigorously for 6 minutes and serve hot. Enjoy 🥰

🥚 **Egg-citing!**1. **Durability**: These are crafted with porcelain and are microwave and oven-safe.Porcelain is the highest-fired, strongest ceramic so I was surprised when I accidentally nicked a cup while unboxing and it broke so easily! I don’t know if it was just bad luck or it was the thinness and/or the quality of the porcelain. We already have some porcelain egg cups and they are almost identical in form, but the walls of these are twice as thin - these are “fine china teacup thin”. ALL our dishes are porcelain. Our plates are porcelain, our mugs are porcelain, and we even use porcelain spoons! I can’t remember his last time I broke anything….because porcelain is strong! Thin porcelain, although lovely, is far more fragile and not for daily use. If I knew these would he so thin, I probably would have passed.2. **Functional**: The form is perfect and they cradle both soft and hard-boiled eggs well. The sleek white finish complements any table setting.3. **Versatility**: Beyond just egg holders, they double as adorable condiment containers. I’ve even used them to hold votive candles (if you remove the wax candle from the tin).All-in-all, lovely but maybe not for daily use.

These are very cute and fit the size of an egg. Th e surface is smooth. There was one that was not as round as the others, more noticeable in person. And it has a sharp rim due to a piece of glaze porcelain sticking up. So, the manufacturing may be inconsistent. Most of them are good. Just too bad not all were the same. I like they are easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
