It’s an adorable bowl but would’ve been nicer if it had a spout on the rim because whenever I would use it for making matcha and would pour it into a glass, it would spill everywhere. Even if I poured fast it stuck to the side of the bowl. Bummer because it’s super cute

I am not a matcha drinker. At all. When I first heard of it, it seemed as though it might be up my alley. But its texture and consistency just do not work with my palate.But this matcha bowl--I absolutely fell in love with it the moment I saw it! I really love bowls and use them in my home decorating frequently. And this bowl is one whose shape is unlike anything I've seen.This matcha bowl is used to mix a matcha drink; one places some matcha powder in the bowl, adds water, and whisks the mixture until the two ingredients are well-mixed. Then, the matcha can be poured into a glass and enjoyed with ice.This bowl measures about 5 3/4" across and is just over 3 3/4" tall. The ceramic bowl is green and has a light glaze over it. The sides have ridges (which makes the bowl easy to cradle in the hands) and the top of the bowl is asymmetrical. The bowl is microwave- and dishwasher-safe. (It was well-packed in a sturdy box with styrofoam. Matcha powder is not included.)I don't know that I'll use it for food preparation, or to eat out of. This bowl is just so beautiful that I'll probably just continue to use it as an object of beauty. Lovely!

I love this matcha bowl! It blended my matcha latte perfectly. I been drinking matcha drinks for a while and the quality of the bowl will definitely impact the consistency of your drink! It was easy to clean and the bowl is just beautiful. I think I might need it in every color haha. :)

This is a very nice quality Matcha bowl. The packaging is beautiful and it is well padded inside to help prevent the possibility of any damage. It is a slightly heavy bowl and the finish (I chose matte black) is really beautiful. As with other Matcha bowls I have had, it does get hot when the water is first added to the bowl and makes it difficult to hold, unless you choose to use a small tea towel. It is open enough to have plenty of room to use a smaller whisk to mix the Matcha with no problem. This would be a wonderful gift for the Matcha drinker in your life, or a great gift to yourself, like I did! (NOTE: The spoon pictured does not come with the bowl. It is my personal spoon for my Mushroom Matcha. I just love the way it looks with the bowl!)
