This item is listed as a Palo Santo burner. I've never burned that before (not even sure what is is, TBH). I got it for burner some Irish sod and other types of non-stick incense. Maybe I'll try getting some Palo Santo, but it works great for what I've used it for so far. The decor of it is nice, subtle so it can fit in with anything. It is a good size and came well-packed in plenty of foam, to ensure no damage would occur in shipping. It also comes with a heat insulating mat, dust brush and mine came with metal tweezers, as opposed to the plastic ones shown in the pictures in the item description.When I lit the sod, the smoke came out nicely through the top, like a chimney. I'm looking forward to trying other types of incense with it.

I purchased this to burn Palo Santo wood. I love the simple design of this product. Palo Santo doesn't burn long, but when you get a good glow on the wood, it curls beautifully from the top of this burner. I don't use the cloth accessory underneath it, but it too is lovely.

I saw this and thought how cute it is to safely burn my palo santo sticks and copal resins. I like the extra items like the tweezers to pick up the hot coals and a little brush to clean it our. I was using an abalone shell that I use for sage but the bottom gets so hot that I burned my hand. This also has the knitted white fabric pad to set the holder on for safety. I also like the simple design with the blue artwork.

This is actually bigger than expected and even higher quality for the price than I was expecting. The mini rug it comes with to sit on is so adorable as well! It's a nice thick ceramic that is glossy with the painted details looking very handmade. This looks like something you would have to get in a very small indie store or something. Functionality wise - I tested burning sage in it and it was so cool to watch the smoke come out of the top. Really nice to be able to tamp the sage at the end and have it catch the ash in the same dish, too. Love it!!!NOTE: I would recommend that you use a little shell or something to be on the very bottom underneath your sage or palo santo, because when I lit up the sage bundle it left a black mark on the bottom of the thing, which might need to be scrubbed off. That might not be a big deal for you since it is meant to burn sage, but if you want to keep the white intact, you'll need to layer something under it. :)

Nice quality ceramic and large enough to hold multiple 4 inch palo santo pieces. It comes with little tongs and a brush for cleaning. I didn’t realize it also came with a little white carpet underneath. So cute!
