The plates arrived less than twelve hours after I ordered them (I live in Connecticut). What I noticed immeditaley was how well packaged they were: I have been ordering from Amazon for over 25 years and this was the best-packaged item I've ever bought. They were ingeniously well cushioned and secured.My only quibble is that the plate's color is not as varigated as the picture here shows; they are basically only slightly variagated--almost uniform. But what's nice is that they have dimples on the surface (not shown in the picture) which, I believe, will prevent food from sliding around (or off) should the user be standing with the plate and, let's say, a drink in the other hand. The dimples are about the size of an American half dollar, and are perhaps 1 or 2 millimeters deep.These are substantial plates (heavier than I imagined), but they are very nice and esthetically pleasing. A great value as well.

Had one crack in half after just taking it out of the microwave for about 50 seconds but the other ones are holding up fine for now. They still look great

These plates are more beautiful than in the catalog pictures. The vivid red is so perfect with the red and green holly berry china I wanted to use them with. They were packaged so well there was not a chip or scratch anywhere. I had them washed and on our table within an hour of their delivery. Excellent delivery time as well - you will not be disappointed if you buy from this company

Good plates with smooth finish, and the blue patterns look really good.Recommended for side dishes, starters, or serving smaller portions.Looks exactly like the picture.Microwave safe.Came well packed separating each plate with foam to avoid scratching / collision.
