I had too many utensils squished into a little holder so I was thrilled to get to try out this set. I knew I did not want plastic, because I'm trying to buy much less plastic, and metal seems to speckle when it gets oil on it so I thought ceramic was a good choice.These ones work great. Now if you have metal handles, they can make that scraping sound that some people don't like. I mainly use this for my silicone and wooden spatulas and utensils.

I love these utensil holders! The sleek black design fits beautifully in any kitchen. I was searching for something to hold a few of my most-used cooking utensils on the counter to free up some space in my overcrowded kitchen drawer and came across this pair of simple ceramic holders. The larger one is just the right size to hold what I want to keep handy without cluttering up my counter. I wasn't sure what I would need the smaller one for, but it turns out it found its use in the laundry room holding some screwdrivers, scissors, and a box cutter that were taking up way too much space laying randomly in a cabinet.The finish and color is clean and simple: black matte.I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could, with the one improvement I'd suggest being a divider of some sort to keep things standing up straighter. It's not a dealbreaker, though, and I get why they didn't design it that way - so it could be used to hold other things like a plant, as the description suggests.

First, I love the black mat color. All my accents in my kitchen are black, so they work well for that. My big thing is though they are not super big. I needed some small utensil holders. So these work great. You can get more in them than they say too. I have a lot of short silicone spatulas, spoon, etc. So I needed something smaller. I just love these. i came back and got two more sets for the other side of my kitchen counter. I am very happy with them and the price was right too. They are very sturdy also.
