The manual is kinda confusing so I would recommend to look up a TikTok just in case you delete the files by accident. But I was able to transfer with my second adapter safely this time . 4 stars

I needed a SD reader to store my music on so that I could stream the music to my phone/car from my home server when I am out and about. I like this reader because it handles many different formats like SD, CF and micro SD. It is a plug and play item and can be used with an linux/Windows and can connect up to both Android or iPhone. It seems to be quality made and I have no issues with the item.

This is a very versatile design that has both lightning and usb c connectivity built in.

I plugged this SD card reader into my Mac, which is where I expect to be using it, inserted the size SD card I expect to be using, and it worked as expected. I did not hear any gears grinding or smell any oil burning. I didn’t have a stopwatch or another reader to compare it to (because my other reader broke, which is why I ordered this one, which doesn’t appear to be broken), but this process was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The unit itself was fairly priced, nice housing and packaging, with ESL directions courtesy of China. I don’t think it’s a big deal the unit includes an auxiliary plug and will accommodate various SD sizes in all likelihood I will never use. Then again, MacGuiver never thought he would get stuck hanging from a guided missile on season 3, episode 18…. Anyway, it does what I wanted, and (apparently) then some.

This works great for off loading photos from my digital cameras CF card onto my computer.With dual connectors it works with my windows computer and a friends Apple devices as well.

This review is for the Denlane Card Reader for Lightning & USB C devices. It can be used on an older iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Android devices. The lightning adapter fits on top of the USB C connector. There are slots on this card reader for a CompactFlash, SD Card, or microSDXC, microSDHC, microSD, SDXC, SDHC cards. The card reader is powered by your device and seems to work fine for its intended purpose.For an iPhone 14, use the lightning adapter and browse for the memory card in the Files app. It was easy to transfer photos to my iPhone using this card reader but not simple to transfer the photos on my iPhone to the CF card. As far as I could see on my iPhone there was not a "select all" button and each photo had to be selected individually. While I am sure there are some work around methods, it's easier to transfer the photos to my pc or laptop using Ctrl+A to select all. This may be a limitation of iPhones and not necessarily an issue with the card reader.

I've saved various microSD cards over the years, hoping for something this cool to come along. I know you can transfer that kind if thing to a PC, but I don't even have a PC anymore. I was able to figure out how to view the photos after a little trial and error. Mine were in a DCIM file (or something like that). Suddenly, I was looking at pictures of my kids when they were toddlers. I'm totally in love with this device!

Here are my thoughts on this card reader:Packaging: The item was packaged very nicely, and the box included the item itself and the user manual. I have no complaints about the packaging.Build quality: This card reader is entirely made of plastic, but considering its price point, I don’t have any issues with it. The size is comparable to genuine Apple adapters. The slots for inserting SD and CFast cards are half-depth slots, which is convenient.Use: This card reader is incredibly easy to use. Simply plug it into your device, which I’m using as a M4 iPad Pro. When I’m using an SD or CFast card, I plug it directly to this unit. Everything works as intended, and I haven’t encountered any issues with read or write speed while editing videos or photos on the go. I primarily use it for transferring files from an SD card saved from a digital camera or other accessories to my iPad.Overall, I highly recommend this card reader to anyone seeking an affordable alternative to more expensive options. It has been a great product!
