Installed this in my off-grid solar system and it has worked well for over a year. It allowed me to setup the battery monitor.

I bought this to measure upwards of 100A in a project I have been working on. So far it has operated at currents up to about 80A with no problems. Looking at it compared to some other 100A shunts that I have used in the past I am dubious that it can handle 100A for very long. The calibrated brass strip is rather undersized for continuous operation at it's maximum rated current however it seems accurate and so far has handled intermittent high currents well. Considering the price I would say it is quite good and I would not hesitate to use it in any applications with continuous currents up to about 60A.All in all it appears to be well made and is a good value for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

Well made, has extra metering posts for wiring. I used it for automotive troubleshooting, monitoring battery drain. You won't blow your test ammeter fuses using this technique.

I have no idea of it’s accuracy, but the shunt feels really solid and well built.

Bench tested before I installed on my boat. Bang-on accurate. Currently installed on my boat and working great.

Screw size and spacing was different than what I hoped it would be for mounting the sensor, but I ordered it strictly from the picture. My fault entirely. I was able to drill and tap 2 new holes on the other side for the sensor.

If you intend to use this shunt with a Midnite Whiz Bang Jr, you will have to drill and tap holes for everything to line up. If you aren’t inclined to drill/tap, just buy Midnite’s shunt for the Whiz Bang Jr

Looks solid and works quite well. The current accuracy is OK.
