This Chain Guide is very quiet and the wheel freely rotates allowing the chain to move for smoothly as well getting more life out of your chain guide
It'll be nice a quite on your ride, so you can enjoy sounds of nature and the shredding of dirt, while keeping that chain on its chainring where it belongs.
The zinc Chicago screws makes sure you don't have worry about rust.
With your suggestions from the model 1 and model 2 chain guides on amazon, making it adjustable will allow it to fit more bikes and chain ring sizes, it’s slimmer design allows for it to be put right behind the chain ring without touching the tire (tight fit means better chain retention), We have upgraded the ties to 70 lbs strength and added an extra slot to have 3 zip ties to the frame.
The Guide is manufactured by 3D printers, visible layer lines will be seen in the exterior of the product. Though made by 3D printer the chain guide is very strong and durable and all tests have been done with 3D printed models

Instruction

Peel off the tapes Red backing to help prevent the Chain Guide from moving, install the chain guide as close to the front chain ring as possible without touching the chain ring or the tire, put the guide around the chain.
Make sure the flat side of the chain guide faces the back tire, Ziptie to the frame
Make sure the screws are facing out so you can adjust the height of the wheel on the guide and tension on the chain

It's tiny and flimsy. No way this fits full size Ebikes. Ariel Rider Kepler 52v. Not even close to fitting. And it's super flimsy even if it did. You can bend it easily with you fingers. Don't waste your time.

So far so good, but...once you screw in the screw it's almost impossible to unscrew it. Please made the other side a phillips or flat head so you can have pressure on the other side so you can unscrew it and not just spin.

Simple to install. (Needed to route the rear shift cable through it also.) The chain normally would have popped off by now. Success!

I have ridden my mountain bike on trails about 50 miles, and only once, despite having a chain guide at top, the chain dropped off. This product seemed like a good addition for peace of mind. I received this chain guide (3rd model with the rollers) today, it seemed easy to install, worked flawlessly when i tested it through all the gears. So I took it for my first trail ride, and half a mile in, through a rocky section of trail, pedaling hard, i felt the chain lose tension, so i immediately stopped. The chain had dropped, zip ties on the chain guide all snapped and it appears The chain guide was sucked back into the derailleur. The lowest derailleur pulley snapped off the derailleur getting sucked into the wheel spokes (warped 2 spokes), also largest 42 tooth cassette tooth bent. Interestingly, the chain guide stayed on the chain and doesn't appear to be damaged at all!? I do not understand how this happened, and admit it might not be the new chain guide's fault, but since i had just put it on I'd wager it somehow played a role in the catastrophic failure. Until someone can explain what happened I'm going to be too scared to put this back on my bike.

I followed the instructions and put it on a brand new Nishiki Pueblo Mountain bike that I use for a commuter and recreational trail bike. You can see in the pictures that this chain guide adds waaay to much pressure to the chain causing the front OR rear derailleur to shift just under normal pedal pressure and speed. This occurred minutes after I installed it. I moved it back from the chain ring/front derailleur to center it between the rear cassette and front crank. It the caused my rear derailleur to change gears because it adds too much pressure to the chain. This is not a good choice for a 3x. Perhaps it would work well on a 1x but not anything with a front derailleur. I'm returning it.

This product works and I'm happy to say that my chain hasn't fell off whenever I do a rough trail or hit a hard drop. This is the first week and hope it has durability to last.
