It fits Walmart buckets but not Home Depots. I measured the buckets and the Home Depot bucket is a slightly smaller diameter. That is a bit inconvenient but not a deal breaker. Overall I like the lid and would buy it again.

Bering use this type of lid for about 1 year. Lid works great stopping the fish from motor boating splashing you.
