We've been wanting one of these wall mounted home control / calendar devices for a while but the price on the brand name ones has been an issue. I was fortunate enough to find this one which was a bit less expensive (but still not cheap). At the end of the day it's an oversized Android tablet that you mount on the wall with a wooden frame; I'm not a fan of the color/finish but its' better than nothing. It sets up easily enough, taking an existing Google login and syncing without issue.I do have some complaints which keep this from having a solid recommendation:- It's flimsy and unbalanced. It doesnt come with mounting hardware, but when hung on a picture hook it tilts to the right (moreso if you have it plugged in). It really requires a VESA mount to be sturdy enough to be used as a touchscreen.- It seems to be locked from updating. The first thing it asks you when you load the Photos app is if you want to update it. It attempts to do so then errors out without explanation. I assume it's because the proprietary software layer is hard locked to an older version of Android? Who knows, since there's no instructions or other help.- Touchscreen isn't very responsive. Sometimes takes a few attempts to get it to register. It's not the WORST touchscreen I've ever used but definitely laggy and you'll be easily frustrated if coming from a modern Android or IOS device. At the end of the day we have a photo frame / calendar easily accessible by the family. It's not elegant and I don't expect performance to get any better, but it's cheap(er) than other options out there.

I felt like I needed to make a review to combat a few that talked about poor image and laggy units. I bought the 15.6" to tandem alongside our dakboard (running on an old all in one 23" monitor made to fit in a photo frame - last photo). For starters I found the UI to be intuitive and very quick to pop between screens and apps. I do not like that you can't change the preset apps (I don't use Spotify and would love to put Amazon music there) however I did find that you can launch apps not listed by asking the Google assistant to open the play store and download them or open the app directly once downloaded. It would just be nice to have an app drawer to access these in. I'd also like to be able to put chrome in full screen to allow my dakboard to show up on there a little better. With that said, the frame looks awesome and it sits very nicely in our bathroom. My wife thus far actually prefers to use it as a photo frame going through our google photos and pop out and into the calendar as needed. I will try the USB-c power and see if I can get a keyboard to connect that way (or via Bluetooth) which may allow the full screen action I'm looking for in chrome. I also wish they would add a power button to the side or front but the display is always on unless it loses power long enough to kill the battery. I'm happy with the purchase and would make it again after using it for about a week.

I purchased this after purchasing a different brand that I found underwhelming. This has all the capabilities I was looking for and more, photos, calendar that syncs with my Google calendar , pre installed apps and the ability to download apps, Spotify..etc. my only complaint is the stand is not great and tips easily if playing a game on the device.

The changing touch calendar combination picture frame tv calendar and everything it does is ok but there is a lack of instructions and when you connect your devise to it it will upload all of your pictures you have no choice which ones you want to put on it then you wander while messing with it if you delete the ones on the changing touch will it delete what you have on your phone even if you are not ready to delete them also any pics you take will automatically be uploaded to it I like the size of it it’s not too big and can hang two different ways or stand on its own two ways it only has Netflix as far as streaming and pbs kids as of yet two days after Christmas we have not figured out if we can sync to it without uploading pics you can sync multiple devices for the calendar for appts but we are still figuring it out will update if we learn anything new
