This is a great product, I no longer hear a loud thud whenever my grinder pump cycles on/off. The installation did require trimming the existing pvc and then gluing on this new unit. Overall a very easy install.

Night and day difference from regular check valve. Had a clunk that would rattle throughout the house each time the old one would shut, now standing right next to it I can't hear it shut.

This check valve is completely silent! No water hammer noise whatsoever. Installed in a vertical discharge line; replacing a standard check valve that slammed shut when the pump stopped making a loud bang (Water Hammer). This valve is completely silent. HIGHLY Recommended for any, and every installation!
