This cherry pitter tool is a lifesaver for jam-making! It removes the seeds quickly without a mess. The handheld design is comfortable and works great on olives too. Definitely recommend for any kitchen.

Pitted an entire bag of black cherries. Worked great and saved a ton of time. Great item for the price.

I found this to work very well! I think it seems fairly easy to clean but I ALWAYS rinse it immediatly after and try to make sure nothing is stuck in it to harden and get icky.

Cherries are cheap this year and are my favorite fruit. Needed this and I am glad I choose this model. Sturdy and easy to load. I did 3 pounds in under 10 mins! Winning!

This device is well made and does an excellent job of removing the pit. I find it works best by first removing the stem, placing the cherry in the slot with the dimple where the stem was up and simply pushing the handle closed. Regardless of how you place the cherry in the slot, it will remove the stem however, if the dimple in the top of the cherry is up, the pit removal is cleaner.

This is faster than than cutting the cherry open and removing the pit by hand. But you have to watch it and make sure the pit pit really separates from the fruit.I didn't have that many cherries that needed to be pitted. Just enough for a small batch of jam. If they had been tart cherries I could have made a pie. But first they had to be pitted. This device did pit all of cherries but I had to make sure that all of the pits were gone before making the jam. It didn't require me to stand up for entire time I was was pitting my cherries or slam my hand against something or hope I could find something to attach it to. All of that is needed for a big cherry pitter. It is easy to clean, we just put it in the dishwasher. Overall, I would buy it again.
