I regularly cook chicken breast for my little dog, but shredding the cooked chicken with forks was a long process. This Rooster Ripper is amazing!! Does the job in a fraction of the time...so fast and easy! I also bought one for a Christmas party gift exchange and it was a popular item in the gifting game!

I was really happy with this purchase, it shreds chicken well. There are still some chunky pieces if they get pushed to the side, but our family likes that.You do need to keep pressure on the lid or it can slide up and off (don't try to shred one handed). Also, we did need to cut some of the larger pieces down in order to fit properly.Hope this helps you make a decision! I would recommend this product!

Works great for small amounts of meat each time. Inner tray is tricky to reinstall after cleaning. Will use it each time I need to shred meats.

This kitchen gadget works great! I bought 2 and gave one to my son. We both love it. No more picking, pulling or chopping by hand. So far I have only used this to make chicken salad. It's easy to use and easy to clean. The price is excellent and it seems like it will last for quite some time. Would make a great gift.

Warm meats don’t like it as much…. Be aware - the bottom two pieces come apart. You must align the arrows to get them back together (so you don’t have to hunt online videos when they don’t want to go back together.). Cleans easy. A quick way to turn chicken and pork into shredded BBQ to make sandwiches or casseroles. Relatively simple and small device (as big as a pie or cake pan.)
