Allow 4 hours for flux to reach an operating temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) before use. Transportation This product has no shipping restrictions. Shipping below 0C (32F) or above 25C (77F) for normal transit times by ground or air will not impact this product's stated shelf life.

This works well on my soldering projects, except its a little hard to control the dispensing. A very little goes a long way! If you cover the pin, you have used too much. It melts and flows the solder with ease. Once your done, you will need to clean things up. Even a small amount spreads quite wide and has to be wiped down quite a bit with alcohol.

I use this for surface mount pcb work. Applies precisely and does not boil away too quickly. Solder flows nicely. I find it easier to use and clean than liquid or gel rosin based flux. I use 99% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning.

First run with Quick Chip, as I normally use AMTECH. Needless to say I forgot to re-order... ran out. This was quickly available, and seem to work as well. I will get a better feel with hotter jobs, but for my needs it's working well. Solder flows nicely.
