Chitosan oligosaccharide are made from chitin and chitosan as raw materials, and are degraded and purified through modern biotechnology and high-tech processes. It is the crystallization of modern biotechnology in recent years. Chitooligosaccharides have low molecular weight, good water solubility and high biological activity.
Agriculture field: Foliar fertilizer, flushing fertilizer, controlled release fertilizer, play a role in promoting growth, improve the uptake plant nutritions and fertilizer ingredients;and have the characteristics of trace amount and high efficiency. It can also be used as a soil conditioner.
how to use:
This product is a fully soluble powder, which can be sprayed directly without filtering.
1. Spraying or irrigating roots: first make mother liquor with 10 times water, and then dilute the mother liquor 300-400 times according to the specific crops for foliar spraying or irrigating roots. It is recommended to use 1-2 times for one season crops and use 2-3 times a year.. It is recommended to use it once in the seedbed period and once in the full bloom period.
2. Flush with water: use 40-60 grams per acre and flush with water evenly.
3. Fertilizer addition: add 100-300 grams per ton of fertilizer, mix well and use.
Storage and shelf life:
Store in a dry place at room temperature. After opening the bag, seal it and store it in a dry place.

It is water soluble as described, however, it didn't appear to be uniformly ground - there were a few small "chunks" that don't dissolve easily - even when strained out and "crushed". Not sure what they were... maybe bits of the packaging that got into the powder? Otherwise, worked fine - I'd strain it though, so you don't clog up a sprayer, unless you're using a high volume type.

I live in a damp and humid area. the humidity level is almost always 100% and root rot is a problem here. I noticed good effects from this product on all plants, indoor and outdoor.

This soil additive is lightweight and easy to use. I used this by adding it into a raised garden bed outdoors in the winter, a few weeks before spring planting. Most of my fellow community gardeners had not heard of adding this type of product to the soil, but, there is one published study that shows it can be effective against nematodes, and from what I understand there are not a lot of natural options for controlling nematodes in the soil. So far my spring plants are doing well. I added this in combination with compost, and the combination, plus preparing the soil with it a few weeks ahead of planting, has worked well for allowing my spring plants to grow healthy and strong early on, so they can withstand the inevitable past like aphids that always attack spring gardens.

This will take a few months to show any real results so my review will mostly be on the basics. This comes in a small size, not alot to go around but is water soluble and easy to use. Again I cannot say if it has helped growth on plants and garden because well I've only used it with 2 waterings. any fertilizer i use i dilute and use with every watering so its not being used also at its full potency. Overall If you are wanting to try a new fertilizer this would be a great starter as its easy and not difficult for any type of use according to the package directions.
