A really great kit that went together very well. I am really impressed with all the detail that is there. Considering the cost, the kit is really phenomenal. My photo shows two gingerbread people I already had that did not come in the kit that I found on line. This kit is a perfect addition to my growing Christmas display and I can highly recommend it!

I like the size and directions are easy to follow but, if you put things together wrong it’s very hard to take apart. On the other hand, pieces put together correctly kept falling apart…super glue had to be used

My daughter was extremely irritated at this. The pieces do not match up just right. I understand it is off brand, but the blocks do not stick together in order to build. Very frustrating.

Arrives in the green box as shown.All parts are packaged and labelled.Instruction book is good, like the name brand.LED lights add more to the appearance and décor if you plan to use this as a decoration.As usual the pieces don't fit as smoothly as the name brand and some of the design doesn't offer strength or proper fitment. The windows have a hard time staying straight, even in the product picture you can see it sort of crooked. For an adult you can work through this by pressing harder and holding pieces together while adding. For a kid, could be extremely frustrating.

This is Lego compatible with regular sized bricks. No missing pieces, VERY easy to follow instructions.This was a pretty straight forward build with no questionable building techniques. Everything feels solid and has not broken apart yet as it has been displayed for the holidays since being built.It took about 2 days on and off, but nothing too difficult. Roof sections were expectedly a bit repetitive, but still fun with all the snow elements.The only downside are the figures. Santa is minifigure scale and fine, but then the 2 people included are of the Friends-line doll type figure, which was odd. None of them stand or sit well, but thats ok.Overall very fun holiday build!

So I am by no means a master at leggos in fact I just dabble here and there so I was a little overwhelmed at first by how many pieces were in this set but I wanted to build a gingerbread house SO bad and what better way to do it then building one that will last longer than a perishable food product. This thing was so fun to build (for the most part). My partner and I only got into one little tiff over it and I would say that's pretty good! I would definitely say its doable for beginners and instructions were pretty clear EXCEPT for the fact that it didn't tell me where to put the reindeer, santa or the couple. So that was kind of confusing. Also the picture on the box is not what the actual house looks like. The pictures in this post are accurate though.

This was such a fun build! And the gingerbread house itself is sturdy as can be. It's actually quite heavy which is nice because I don't feel like I'm going to break it every time I move it. It's a good size for display and even has lights to go with it! My kids really enjoyed the little details inside the house as well. At $42, it's a great price for what you are getting. This thing is solid. I will be packing this build away as a house instead of breaking down.

I enjoy the holidays and having a set that I can build each year as part of the decor is fun. Both my girlfiend and I enjoyed the build together and it was a lot less messy than a classic gingerbread house. We just bought the candies and ate them while we build this.
