This is a large Christmas pyramid. It's a fun product and it's cool to see how it works. It looks fun and stunning from across the room. Up close, it's kind of flimsy. Obviously, it needs to be lightweight in order to spin with candle power.Speaking of candles, this does not come with any of them! In order for it to work, you need to purchase candles separately, so as a gift, this really falls short without including another package of candles.It requires a little bit of assembly, and you have to angle the fins just right for it to work. They fall out pretty easily. The box does contain one extra just in case.All the pieces were loose in the box, including the two small pieces you need to install on the bottom to make it work. I almost couldn't find one of them.Once you get this running, it's lots of fun, a unique throwback Christmas decoration, and a fun science lesson. However, it is about twice as expensive as I would imagine for the quality, especially when you still have to supply the candles.

I got this as a gift for a friend who loves Christmas. I thought this would be a really beautiful thing she could store away except for Christmas time, to have out on her mantle every year. I was really embarrassed when she opened it and it was broken in several places, as well as just awful manufacturing. Everything is attached together with big globs of glue. The wood is very thin and cheap, and peeled away from the structure just after taking it out of the box! The price for this is OUTRAGEOUS. It was made well and sturdy, I'd be happy to pay the price for a nice gift for someone. But for this, I can't even give it to goodwill, it's just trash.

For the money worth every penny! Bought 2 for me and another family member. Came perfect. Fyi if so inclined, you can paint.
