Cheap stuff but that was expected. The pigment is MESSY so use with caution. My son likes the crystals the best but had fun with the experiments too!

I bought this for my 8 year old Grandson and he loved it. It was a great value. It came with a daily instruction book, so it was very easy to use and understand. The magic wand did break fairly easy, but he still had fun with all the other options in the calendar. The boxes were easy to open and everything looked great.

I thought this might be too young for my 9 year old Grandson but he really enjoyed it! Some things were a bit simple for him but he enjoyed the magic presents.

We're only 7 days in, but my 8 year old son absolutely loves this advent calendar! Major bonus points that it shipped and arrived so fast! I had ordered a different advent calendar that kept getting delayed / never actually shipped, so I ordered this one and it arrived same day. I would only recommend two changes to it - it would be better to have the instructions for each day in the box with the item instead of one booklet - too easy to have spoilers for the coming days. I would also recommend mixing up the items - the way it comes, it's all magic tricks first, then all science experiments, then all gemstones. It would be more fun to mix it up. Even so, it's a huge hit and I'm really pleased.

Literally the worst thing I've ever bought. My son wakes up every day all excited. I look at the instructions and they make ZERO sense. Even the words they use don't make sense lol. Half the crap is broken. Legit waste of money. We are on day 5 and I'm ready to toss it. 100% do not buy this.

Quality feels good for what it is. But the instructions are poorly translated or just poorly written which is primarily why I give low stars. Low to moderate value for money depending on taste. The variety throughout the box is fine except it’s all more or less pooled together. So if your kiddo doesn’t really get excited for the stones, the last week will be a bummer for them, instead of them all peppered throughout (just an example.)
