I bought this to cart around board games. The square shape is absolutely perfect for the standard modern square board game, and assuming a somewhat standard box height along the lines of Dominion, Cosmic Encounter, or Dune, you can easily cram about 6 or 7 in there. Will also fit other shapes if you can Tetris them together well enough. The straps are not the most comfortable if you're carrying the bag a long way, so be warned that you may want more padding unless you can deal with straps digging into your shoulder. As for durability, I've had mine for about 7 years now, and it's only been in the last year that some of the structural integrity of the bag has started to wane. It'll still probably last me another year or so, and then I'll probably replace it with another of the same brand. I did know a guy whose bag ripped fairly early into his use of it, but on average, still a great board game tote for the price.

I bought a large cajon for my studio, but sometimes we like to take it out to acoustic gatherings. I was really afraid it was going to get banged up, marring the beautiful finish. This cover caught my eye as a very good value, and it is! It fits my cajon perfectly, and I love that it has shoulder straps in addition to the carrying handle. There's a fairly large pocket in front to stow sticks, gloves, music, etc...to be sure, it's not a hard case, so it won't be protected against hard knocks, but it sure makes it easier to carry, and guards against scrapes and general bumps and jostling.Stitching is consistent and secure throughout the case.Definitely recommended!

Bought this as a board game bag instead as it had good quality and padding to protect my board games. Big enough to store large and small games, perfect for on the go trips to different locations as it has a back straps and a heavy duty handle to carry. Very happy with the product!

Bought this to carry our board games. Works perfectly and fits a good amount of games - around 7 large games. Has decent padding to keep them from getting dented and fits them perfectly. Can wear as a backpack, carry with the handle on top or use the back-straps like a duffel bag. Highly recommend for this use, especially for the price!

I got this bag to hold my FFG games Imperial Assault and all the expansions. we play at different places and the boxes are just sized enough so that theyre hard to fit into most bags and backpacks. after searching online i found some specific bags on kickstarter such as the game truck which looked really good but were over $100. other people were mentioning this bag, but i couldnt find any pictures of it holding Fantasy Flight games so that Id know it fit them. I can say now that it fits them perfectly. you can fit all the imperial assault boxes and expansions in this bag. it is the perfect size for them fitting snug but enough play around them that you can slide in some rulebooks or papers. its lightly padded too, so itll protect the games against any standard transport damage. when not in use it can be folded up quite small and stored out of the way.i have to mention that, as another reviewer posted, the top handle does not appear designed to carry any kind of weight. its sewn into the side seams so that when you pick it up those seams will take the stress, and i can see them eventually tearing. when i had this loaded with my games it was pretty heavy and i would think the top handle would tear. the backpack straps seem better designed to handle weight so if you use that mainly with a full load, you should be ok. alternatively i can see where sewing a strap around the bag and fixing it to the handle would greatly increase the life of this bag. overall even if it does fall apart, youll likely have the $25 worth of use out of it, so i recommend this to anyone looking to transport your FFG game boxes.

This is a great bag for boardgames. It's not quite perfect, but it gets 5 stars because it is such a good value for the price. As others have said, the roughly 12x12 interior dimensions are perfect for many boardgames. There is a bit of padding all around, so with a little care, your boxes should be safe. Similarly, while not waterproof, I wouldn't be afraid to have it out for a short walk in a light rain. The front opens all the way, for very easy access. The zippers, top handle, and general construction appear quite solid. As others have said, it was probably only designed to hold a lightweight (hollow) drum, but I have loaded it up with several fairly heavy games (weighing about 20 pounds), and it has been fine so far.The main reason I got it was to use as a backpack, since I walk about 10 minutes each way to a local gaming event. The shoulder straps are...adequate. They are thin, constructed of nylon, with rubber sleeves to try to slightly protect your shoulders. That all works OK, but the flaw is at the bottom: The straps are not attached at the outer edges of the bag. They are inset a couple inches, which result in them kind of pinching my back. It's not bad, and I can still make it the 10 minutes without problems, but it could be better. With only the weight of a drum, it probably wouldn't be a problem at all.The backpack also sticks out much farther than a normal backpack (since it holds more), so be careful when you are turning around, to be sure you don't hit anything (or anyone). I wish it had a couple pockets or pouches.

Even though I am a musician, I actually got this bag for board games... so I can offer nothing on whether it is good for cajon transportation because I don't currently own a cajon. But for board games, it's actually very useful. It allows several games and boxes to be conveniently carried together, and with the single hand grip atop, to even be carried by one hand. The fabric and stitching seem about average --- meaning, for very heavy boxed games, I probably wouldn't stack the case to the brim every gaming night and expect this case to still be in one piece in ten years. But for the price and convenience it allows, easily a five star product for what I use it for.

It may be designed for a musical instrument, but it works great for typical modern board game boxes.I purchased the ChromaCast CC-CBAG-S, in the Standard size. (The Large size probably works, but is a bit deeper, so typical board game boxes might slide around.)As a board game bag it's nearly ideal. It holds a pile of games. The front zips open, making it easy to display what games you've brought and to slide a single game out or back in. It's got a top; while probably not waterproof, it should protect your games from a bit of rain during the dash from car to house. It's lightly padded, helping protect the game boxes from minor dents. It has a large, comfortable, rubber-like handle at top. While it's heavy when full, it wasn't too bad.It has shoulder straps so you can wear it like a backpack. There it stumbles a bit: the traps are a bit thin, and slinging it on and off my back is awkward. But it's nice to have the option. The construction seems solid, like a mid-range backpack. The zippers are unbranded, but don't seem flimsy. The sliding parts of the backpack straps are metal. The straps are sown on, and they're not reinforced, but seem okay. It's not amazing, but I'm comfortable trusting my games to it.At least At least one Kickstarter that tempted me offered a similar bag. For $129. The ChromaCast bag is just $22. The Game Canopy is nicer, but I'm not sure it's $107 nicer. Oh, and you can get the ChromaCast bag tomorrow; the Game Canopy isn't due out until April, 2017.The bag is new, so maybe my opinion will change after a few months of use. But for now, I'm quite pleased with it.
