It was basically a snap out snap in job to replace the old one. It comes with the piece for the pull rod.

Part was as ordered. It arrived in the specified time, Though it was only a piece of abs plastic, but it is a needed safety device. The color was spot on. The origonal part broke just where the release rod connected and the insert connector was damaged. So you can only imagine my relief when I saw the new unit already had one. It took me 5 minutes to remove the old part and install the new part once I saw the new part once I saw it was the right color.

Perfect fit for our Dodge Dakota 2005. Easy to install. The original handle broke (cheap plastic) and so we needed a replacement. This looks just like the original. We are happy.
