The critters in the back yard love this mix. Squirrels & birds eat it up rather quickly.Makes me happy to help them out since they live in the city and rely on our backyards to survive.

I won't buy this brand again. It's a pretty cheap product with lots of nonedible scrap such as bark and small sticks. And, what's with all the dust residue? Looks like I got the bottom of the barrel.

My husband works from home next to a window with a wide ledge, and he loves getting visits from our neighborhood birds and squirrels. We’ve struggled to find the right food for our visitors — bread’s not healthy, they’re surprisingly picky about fruits and vegetables, and nuts are expensive. We settled on unsalted sunflower seeds, but we were buying them in small amounts at the grocery store and always running out. A friend gave us a different seed mix with smaller seeds, but the squirrels hated it so much that they stopped visiting entirely. So this mix was yet another attempt to find something mostly healthy, at a reasonable price, that everyone likes….Luckily this one was a huge success! The squirrels are back and the number of bird “regulars” has gone way up. Both my husband and our cats consider these visits to be a highlight of each workday, so when the birds and squirrels are happy, we’re happy too. The only downside is that the fragments of shells can get messy, but we just sweep them off the windowsill once in a while with a tiny broom. Highly recommend this mix for anyone looking to spoil your own outdoor visitors.

The squirrels, mourning doves, a scrub jay and finches love this food! I've been buying the 10lb for years, on subscribe and save, but they canceled it for my January delivery and probably forever, which disappointed me. I looked at Chuckanut's website and found it there and it's cheaper! I want to continue feeding my wildlife quality food. I want to keep them all happy

I feed the squirrels in my backyard and they seem to love this stuff. I buy lots of it. No complaints from them and they seem to love everything in it.

This is the best mix of healthy squirrel treats I have ever found and they absolutely LOVE it! Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is very little corn (which they don't seem to like) and mine aren't crazy about the pumpkin seeds, either, but all in all it is a great mix. I do wish it had a few more peanuts in the shell, but I tend to add a few on my own to take care of that. Try this ChuckANut mix and watch your squirrels come charging toward it when you set it out. Trust me, they will!
