Churchill products are all subject to rigorous testing in both our independent and at our UKAS accredited laboratory. Our laboratory tests our products for durability, strength and endurance and is located on site at our factory in Stoke-on-Trent.

I was looking for a sugar bowl to go with a Blue Willow tea set I have and this one is perfect. It has no flaws in the beautiful pattern and the lid fits as it should.

Let me start by saying I love Churchill's blue willow, it's my family's china pattern and I've been slowly accumulating my own set over the years. I purchased this sugar bowl as a treat for myself a couple weeks ago and sadly I'm a bit disappointed. The bowl itself is the sturdy quality I expect, but the printing of the pattern on the bowl is rather sad. The lid is lovely and vibrant, but the bowl seems faded and a bit splotchy. I've included a picture of the bowl next to a tea cup to try to show the difference but it is more pronounced in person. I took a star off for that, and another for capacity. We're a sugar cube family and sadly I can only put about 20 lumps in without the lid not sitting properly so I do wish it was a bit larger. I'm not disappointed enough to return it, but there is definite room for improvement.

I am absolutely obsessed with blue willow china. It's always been my favorite china pattern. I have one full 20 piece dinnerware set and when i needed a sugar basin i said to myself i might as well order what i want and put it on display. It is the perfect size and as gorgeous as I could have imagined :) Next up for me I am going to order the creamer jug.

It was received about three weeks earlier than expected. It was in perfect condition. It was exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price with no shipping expense from London. It is a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. It matches the dishes they are using. I would recommend this to anyone who has a need for a similar dish.
