Just used this on a BR type panel. Slightly different than another brand I used, but it works great. Open breaker, screw tight, flip down (in), install lock. Very secure. I carry the key in my pocket while doing the work, then unlock when done. I highly recommend this even if you're working on your own with no one else in the house. Its just a great habit to form and this is very low cost to just safely work on a single pole circuit.
