What are hub-centric rings for?
Most aftermarket wheels have a large center hub diameter so the wheels will fit a variety of different vehicles. The hub-centric rings are made to fill the gap between the wheel and the hub of the vehicle to ensure the wheel is perfectly centered. This not only makes the installation of your new wheels much easier but will also help eliminate any vibrations you may encounter.
Nylon material is inexpensive, offers high tensile strength, chemical resistance, stiffness and extreme temperature tolerance along with low thermal expansion. It will not rust or corrode, and is the material of choice for many components in your engine compartment. Nylon also has a low friction property that helps with longevity and won’t rattle or squeak.

I put these on my 4x100mm 2009 Chevy Cobalt with MB Wheels Five X rims to solve a wheel shake issue. One of the rims developed swells around where the lug holes are, so that rim was difficult to get the ring seated in, BUT the polycarbonate was flexible enough to seat in the bore hole with a rubber mallet and a small piece of flat board. When mounting the rim on the hub, it was a pretty tight fit, but again these were flexible enough to form onto the hub with a lot of effort. I'm glad I got these instead of the metal ones for that reason. Wheel shake issue resolved for now. I'll try to make a point to update if anything changes.

I am giving it 3 stars because these rings seem to work for others (I would have given it 2 instead). They did NOT fit for me. In general the diameters seem fine, and the overall thickness is exactly 10mm. But they would not sit flush to my wheel, it sticks out just enough that it would not be safe to put on my wheels. I purchased another brand's rings (the aluminum ring in my pictures) for comparison. See pic A: the way these plastic rings are designed the outer lip's edge is thicker, therefore more of it ended up sticking out (the aluminum one has a "flatter" lip). Don't know if it matters, but the outer diameter is a hair bigger too (see pic B and C where the aluminum ring is placed directly on top of this plastic one). You can see in pic C the black edges from the bottom ring shows all the way around when viewed from the top down.

Update: Four years later, still running strong!Have reinstalled the wheels multiple times with no issues, run hangs nicely without issue, very durable.
