These are our child’s favorite swim bottoms. We have had them for going on 2 years and they are still holding up. The color is only faded slightly. We have enjoyed city thread swim stuff and will continue to buy from the company.

I was having a hard time finding bottoms to fit my daughter. She needs a 4t top but the bottoms are way too big. We have bottoms of various sizes from different children’s clothing stores, but none fit. 2t, 3t, and 4t were all falling off and the 18 month fit at the waist, but was too tight around her legs. I ordered a different style of bottoms from city threads in a 3t based on their weight/height recommendations and they fit great. I ordered this skirt in a 3t and it is much larger. It looks like it will stay up, but the butt is very saggy. I was surprised there was such a difference in the 2 styles. Perhaps this is a true toddler size that was designed to be worn with a diaper but I don’t know how to tell the difference before ordering.

Bought this for a last minute trip need and I am very pleased. Very cute style and fit; fits as expected for 2t size. Seems well made and good quality for a reasonable price when I purchased it (I know prices on some items can fluctuate).

My daughter simply loves this swim skirt and we love how well it fits!! Last summer we got her the green one and she loved it. We hand washed occasionally, and she wore it in the ocean and chlorine pools, we hug it up to dry, and it still looks great. It is a smidge shorter than last year, but still offers good coverage and looks adorable. This summer I got her the purple one, and she delivers the same abuse if not more at summer camp, and it is holding up very, very well! Will be ordering one more, maybe in a pink color, so she has another to carry her through to next summer when I assume the green will finally be too small?!I bought the purple in a 4T so it would not be falling off for immediate usage, and the green from last summer is a 3T, but still fits without hurting her thighs/waist. They are made so well I feel it is worth the cost for multiple summers of such generous coverage and adorable style, all made in the usa! Especially when suits from Target are already beginning to stretch out of shape in the bottoms only 2 weeks into summer. It is shameful to have the legs of a suit loose, tsoo see her pulling the fabric back into place temporarily- so she wears these swim skirts with the tops from the other, cheaper made Target suits.For your measurements sake: my daughter is 3.5yrs, and usually wears a from a 3T in bigger fit clothes, to a 4T right now is most things, or a 5T in some. She is approximately 40" tall, and 40lbs. She is tall for her age and so we typically buy up a size. Will report back on her stats if the 5T proves too big or if the 3T finally becomes too tight.

I ordered this for my almost 9 year old. She wears a size 12 in pants/bottoms and tops. Many of the reviews for bathing suits stated things ran small so I ordered this skirt in a 14. It's a bit large so I'd say this runs fairly true to size. The fabric and color are nice but the skirt is way too full for what I'd consider a "swim skirt." The skirt fits in that it doesn't sag, but the skirt itself (the ruffled portion) hangs to my daughter's knees and is very full. It looks like she's wearing a standard fashion skirt it's just made from bathing suit material. We're keeping it because my daughter enjoys all things ruffled and we have a pool so can slways use another suit. If you are looking for a true swim skirt (mid thigh, practical), you may want to keep looking.
