I understand it is hand made, and it is intended to have a seam in the middle of the abalone, but one side is Beautiful and the other is Completely plain... I'm very disappointed, as it was intended to match some earrings and necklace I got my Wife... intending to bring our jewelry into a matching set... now that it is so plain on half, it kinda does not work... :(Considering sending it back...

- this is a great looking tie clip, it has a nice pattern to it.- really like that it holds down the tie well and doesn't start sliding off like other tie clips without damaging or digging in to the tie or shirt.- price wise I think it was a good buy, in past experience the less you pay the less quality you get. But not the case with this tie clip.- the only thing I can see someone not liking about it is you can see where the pattern ends and starts again. However if you know about abalone shells you know a long stretch like that isn't possible in one piece.

I really like the color of this stone so thought Iād give it a try, however the stone fell out of the clip and broke :( very disappointing

This was the perfect touch to go with the tie I got my dad for my wedding a couple weeks ago. Very classy, great price, and goes great with a good variety of colors. Can be more casual (we didn't do full suits, just short sleeve shirts and dress pants because it was an outdoor wedding... and it was 90+ deg outside!!) or more dressy with vests or suit coats.
