I bought these for my Jupiter 611R and they are exactly what I expected. They were simple to insert, and have not fallen out once in the month I have been using them. These plugs do a great job of covering the holes, and have made my switch to an open holed flute with an in-line G very simple.

I wasn't sure if they were the right size. But they fit my newer Powell flute perfectly! They really help with faster passages as I'm adjusting to an offset G key.

They do the job, which is to provide a means for learning the flute using an intermediate or professional, open-hole flute. Using plugs, however, does degrade the tone of the instrument. As I have progressed, plugs have been removed accordingly. Playing with fingers covering the holes allows access to more fingering options and allows the richest tone and full volume of the instrument. Until you get there, you need the plugs. Removing a plug is easy. Stand the flute on end on your lap, and push the plug into the flute. It will fall on your lap. If you discover you are not quite ready, put the plug back in awhile longer.

So much better than those hard plastic plugs that will leak no matter what. VERY happy with these. Been playing the flute for 20 years.

I have a professional flute. Conn Selmer plugs is very good. You can't feel the plugs covering the holes very good.
