Bought these standard crankshaft bearings 3 years ago & finally have the opportunity to overhaul my 3.1 V6 (early summer 2021). I got lucky - very lucky, as it turns out all original crankshaft & rod bearings look good & healthy. That means the slight knocking sound was the knock sensor, so a new one’s ready to go in. I once had a spun bearing in a Volvo overhaul & had to have the crank machined with oversized bearings. This time the standards fit just within range - and just in time.
