These doors look great. They are not difficult to install. And, a big plus, I tried to find something like this locally but there was nothing available that would fit my closet openings.

Is stylish, solid. All hardware was included. Overall, not bad. I like this style with the angled louvers. Seems solid enough. We are actually using this door as a bedroom entrance door, not a closet. Not exactly the intended purpose for this style, but it works. A pre-drilled hole for the knob would have been a nice touch. We decided to stain this door, to give it a little color/character, and make it last a little longer without fingerprints, etc. However, that is where the "fun" began.... Upon assembly at the factory, it would seem that the assemblers slopped a bit of wood glue "here & there" on various surfaces of the door, and didn't really bother to clean it up the correct way, with water and a good absorbent rag. When attempting to stain, I quickly discovered the multiple glue spots, which you can't stain over. So, what should have been an hour project turned into a good solid week of prep work; sanding, re-sanding, and sanding some more in an attempt to get rid of most of the glue. Since it dries clear, you can't really tell exactly where all of it has dried. After a week of fooling with it, I decided to just let it as it is and stain over it as best as I could. Sure doesn't look 100%, but it is what it is. If you were going to paint over it with a solid color, the paint would cover the glue and it wouldn't really show. I deducted 1 star from the rating because of this sloppy mess. Just something to consider when purchasing.

Got one of these doors a few months ago at Home Depot and install went perfect. Bought 2 more recently from Amazon and doors were great but hardware was terrible. Tracks were too tight, pivots and guide were a bad fit, and screw for the knob was too long. No help or response from manufacturer after repeated tries. Had to purchase generic hardware elsewhere for doors to work properly. Spent allot of extra time and money to get these working right.

It's a nice looking door and I'm happy with the outcome. Outside of needing to shave a bit off the bottom- I cut 1" off to make it fit, but could have gotten away with -.5", I could have had this up and complete within 30 minutes, and I'm an amateur; just a handy gal. Because I was a bit freaked out about having to cut anything off of a door that measured perfectly for my doorway, I overcut, because I didn't want to have to cut again. I had to put a small block under the bottom pivot point, because of my overcut. If not for the carpet and threshold, I probably could have just put it up, as is, in a jiffy.Mind you, it's very light and the pieces are not meant to survive hard living. It's simple and adequate, and I have dogs, but no more small children. Just be mindful that it's not going to do well with a lot of wear and tear. Mostly, I'll need to secure it, when it's open, so the dogs don't knock into it, coming in and out. My dogs are good, but if you have pets or children that will push on it when it's closed, it will probably break.I had a really ratty old door for my very small bedroom; I wanted to regain even a few inches of wall space. This works and it looks great!!

As stated, simple install. I had them up in less than 20 minutes. Some of that was this products YouTube tutorial that was 5 minutes long.....the instructions are very clear though. Quality build of doors and good hardware. The wood was so nice, we kept it bare. Maybe a clearcoat later. We bought two to fill a 48" walk through to make my son's room. The HVAC return is in his room so the vented doors were a must. The price and quality are better than the local box stores.

The bi fold door quality is pretty good; solid wood, no rough patches, and the hardware is on the up and up.I did, and i assume most people buying this, had to trim a few inch off the height. In doing so, the width of the door was compromised and the bottom part ended up being more narrow than the top. If you decide to cut a piece off the bottom, know that the panel below the louvers will come out, and you will need to glue it back it if you are cutting above the bottom portion that actually hold the panel up and in place. Now the tricky part is NOT over clamp the trim with the wood glue in place, as the panel 'floats' a bit in the precut notches. by the time i realized this the glue had hardened and it is impossible to correct. You will also need to drill a new hinge pin hole, so keep that in mind as well. Other than that, the door looks absolutely great!

you get 2 12 by 80 doors attached with a hinge.( = one 24 x 80 bifold) Solid, not hollow core. Price was cheaper here than at big box storesI needed 2 panels for 2 small closets. They came with all hardware. (I did not use the hardware, as I have found this unnecessary if you have a good fit. I also needed them to be 76 inches long rather than 80. I was able to trim off 2 inches off both top and bottom without any problem. Quality was good. I used a stain/poly (Ipswich pine , lighter than I thought it would be) 2 light coats, and keeping the drips from running was not fun. Used cabinet hinges to hang the doors, and cabinet slide as a closure. Looks nice, and will keep the cats out!
