The hardness of steel was obtained through high temperature treatment and tempering making our needle hard to break or bend. Blunt point needles ideal for wool, thick cotton, embroidery, ribbons on canvas and open mesh fabrics. Preferred in ribbon work to prevent snagging and splitting fibers.

The flavor was most disappointing. The texture makes theCookies really hard to chew,

The needles are of a good quality so as to have a good "feel" in the handand not easily slip while embroidering on various counted thread fabrics. The eye is long enough to accomadate multiple threads but not leave ahole in the fabric that is too noticable.

The needle eye is larger with these to use with specialty or multiple strands of embroidery floss. Two other brands had smaller eye for same size making them undesirable. It is nice to have three each of sizes 8 and 9.

Bought for cross stitch and embroidery, I tried out several different brands and sizes, and was pleased with them all.

I have tried needles that were cheaper and they were just that,,, cheap. These needles however, were sturdy and the eyes have not one burr in them. I recommend these above all others! they are worth the few cents more!

After exhausting my supply of DMC no. 24 (literally wore them out) decided to try these. Wonderful. the chrome and gold plating wear off but the needle continue to work well. Have used six in rotation for two years of daily work, only one has broken. This will be my go-to petit point needle for years to come

Perfect size needles for cross-stitching. They don't have a sharp end, like a sewing needle would, so you don't poke your fingers while cross-stitching. No need for a thimble with these. They are fine-tipped enough to easily go through the holes in Aida cloth without enlarging the holes. The eyes are large enough to make threading easy. I'm glad I bought these and waited a couple of days for delivery instead of impatiently starting my project!

Fantastic needles, especially compared to the DMC brand. They are strong, smooth, and last forever. The quality level is similar to the John James needles (from the UK). The DMC needles I've used, on the other hand, bend after one or two uses, the gold plating (if any) rubs off after about two hours of use, they are difficult to thread, and they don't go through the cloth smoothly. My only complaint is that Amazon doesn't carry the size 26/28 in these!

These are a bit sharper than other cross stitching needles. I found myself poked a bit more (as if I were embroidering) but it's not so sharp that it draws blood. I like the large, golden eye on this, makes threading a lot simpler. Good weight and feel in my fingers. I like these and will purchase again.
