This cable was very easy to work with. The outer sleeve was sturdy but would strip really easily. The twisted pairs would straighten out nicely so they could be inserted into the RJ45.Flexibility was good but I did get a couple of curls which creased the outer sleeve. A small price to pay for all of the other great things about this cable. This cable, the passthrough RJ45's and the stripping crimper were a winning combination.

This is well-constructed CAT5e cabling. Although it's unshielded, that doesn’t detract from its overall quality. I used about 5,000 feet of it to wire my new home and property, and it performed perfectly for connecting everything. The cable pairs are small but very manageable, making it easy to attach connectors. My only minor complaint is the inclusion of the small twine filament inside, but that’s standard with most Ethernet cables these days and not the seller's fault.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and rate this 5 stars. I’ll definitely be purchasing more whenever I need additional cabling.

I used for surveillance camera system. More than 70" true 3/4 PVC tube's. The work was very good.

I did a major project to install commercial grade Power Over Ethernet (PoE) surveillance in multiple places outside my house and property using conduit. Purchased this 1000 foot spool which was just over the total length needed.Purchased yellow as the common color coding for PoE. This cable pulled fine through the conduit and fed from its box without problems. The length markings along the cable were accurate and helpful. To apply the RJ45 connectors or punch down to the 110 Block, the outer jacket stripped easily and the pairs untwisted fine. Color coding on the individual wires was easy to read. All in all, very happy with all aspects of this cable. The data loading is not heavy enough to warrant measuring actual performance over lengths for which I don't have the metering anyway.

This is a love/hate relationship. if you just need some simple cable to get the job done, then this is fine. It's inexpensive, flexible, and comes in a variety of bright colors. But if you need to pull this stuff in walls, ceilings, conduits, or other long runs, or if you are looking to pull cable with just yourself and no helpers, you may want to steer away. There was a time I was installing cable for a living.... and i can confidently say.... pulling this stuff SUCKS.That said.... If you are not a master cable installer, this cable has a nice, soft flexible vinyl-like sheath, so it is great for patch cords and other uses that need flexibility. But it is not a smooth, slick sheath like some PVCs and Plenums (good quality Comscope cables or pre-lubricated ones), so the coefficient of friction in conduits is higher, and it "sticks" to itself and other surfaces. It also has a terrible tendency to snag up in the box. I bought 6 boxes to pull around my house because I needed some low-cost stuff that is only going to get pulled in once and then never move again, and it is a DEFINITE 2-person job, as the boxes snag up repeatedly, and you have to open the box, undo the snag, and then close it back up again. In one 60-foot pull with 6 of these cables, 2 of them snagged up in the box 3 times EACH. The other 4 had no trouble. most of the snags were kinks, but one of them had a complete compound knot tied in the snag. No idea how that managed to happen but it did.I did notice that the conductors and the sheath managed to come thru the snags in what APPEARS to be acceptable condition.... they do not appear to be ripped or broken. However I won't be certain until I can terminate and test it.So, as noted, if you just need a simple, cheap cable to make some patch cords or whatever, then this is good because it's got a soft, flexible sheath. If you're ok dealing with snags in the box, then it's ok. But if you want a smooth pulling, firm sheathed cable like a high-quality Comscope, don't buy this stuff !!
