Due to chipset limitations, DDR3 Quad Rank memory will operate at 1066MHz in the first Dual Channel bank. Adding Quad Rank modules in the second Dual Channel bank will operate at 800MHz. Third Dual Channel bank, if present, is disabled.
This system supports six (6) Single or Dual Rank Reg ECC RDIMMs or four (4) Quad Rank RDIMMs or ECC UDIMMs. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported within this system.
Intel Xeon 3400 series processors use Registered memory. Intel Celeron, Pentium, and Core i processors use ECC-Unbuffered memory, not Registered memory
How to Upgrade Quad Rank RDIMMs: Virtually any configuration up to 32GB can be reached using 4GB and 8GB QR RDIMMs up to four modules. Single or Dual Rank RDIMMs: Virtually any configuration up to 24GB can be reached by using 1, 2 and 4GB SR or DR RDIMMs up to 6 modules. How to Upgrade ECC UDIMMs: Virtually any configuration up to 16GB can be reached using Kingston's 1, 2 and 4GB ECC UDIMMs up to four modules.

Product worked great. I installed it the recommender slots for RDRam and it correctly matched its speed to the motherboard. At 800mhz A very fair price to add 32gb of compatible memory to our older dell t310 server.

I had spent months looking for RAM to upgrade my Dell PowerEdge T310 server's paltry 4 GB of memory. This server, in particular, is a nightmare to find compatible RAM for, even if the RAM is marked as compatible by reputable vendors like Kingston. This set of 4x8 GB quad-ranked memory finally did the trick.

I ordered these for a Dell T310 based on the description but they don't fit in the server memory slots so are not useful for the application. Otherwise the order was processed in a timely manner.

It turned out that my server, because it has a Celeron processor instead of a Xeon, could not handle 32 Gb of RAM. CMS worked with me to identify the issue and accepted the return, then arranged to have 16 Gb of RAM that will work with my servers shipped.Great support!

It works perfectly to upgrade my Dell PowerEdge T310 server with the Xeon X3460 processor. I just powered down, unplugged, and swapped out. It only took a few minutes. The new memory modules are even made by the same manufacturer as the original memory modules. No problems.

It took about 1 minute to remove my Dell factory 4GB of memory & plug in the 32 GB. Turned the server back on and had no issues. Everything works just fine.
