Although it clearly says this blade is 8-1/2" it's actual dimension is 8-7/16"Had I been aware of that I would have moved on.Unfortunately this was more of a wast of time than anything else.Direct from the manufacturer.

The blade works quite well for all cut and ripping thinner white oak but be aware that due to the thinness of the blade slight deviations from a straight cut can occur. This occurs more on thicker boards and is not evident on 1/2" stock. All in all, this blade has served me well for my application and my saw hardly works to make a very narrow clean cut in expensive wood.

I have bought 2 Hitachi table saws, excellent saws, quite, stops very fast.But they always break and won't start. The 1st within 30 days, Amazon was great and sent me another saw.The 2nd saw about 6 months broke. I have deal with Hitachi service, who takes a long time to get it fixed.So I had to buy a Craftsman table saw or lose my business, I hate the saw loudest saw I ever herd,and takes a long time to stop. Very cheaply made.

China! CHina!CHIna?CHINa?CHINA!!!!! Usually I associate CMT with Italian manufacture. This blade out of the box demonstrated poor quality. A machinist sqaure against the plate was touching as much as it was not. The cut is similar to a dull blade that comes with the mitersaw. I bought this to use while my Forrest blade went back for sharpening. It is a complete waste of money. CMT should be ashamed.
