About this item

  • For fine finish crosscuts. Glass-smooth finish on your miter cuts.
  • Cut soft and hardwood, plywood, two-sided laminates. For use on compound miter saws.
  • 0.102 kerf thickness, 0.071 plate thickness, 5° cutting angle, 10° ATB+Shear grind.
  • Thin kerf reduces material waste, shear angle produces smooth cuts and improves cutting speed.
  • Special Carbide prevents from material failure, Non-Stick Orange Shield protects against corrosion.

A new saw blade which reduces material waste and demand on the saw, while delivering reliable, industrial-quality performance cut after cut! This blade features a heavy-duty steel plate (44 Rockwell) for higher resistance during work, laser-cut heat expansion slots and sound dampening channels to prevent the tool from warping during rotation and greatly reduce vibrations! Blade teeth are made of Industrial SinterHip High-density carbide which prevents the tool from any material failure and guarantees a longer cutting life. Also, the new Shear Angle Grind on the teeth front face produces smooth cuts, reduces the blade cutting force and improves the cutting speed, setting a new standard for performance and value. Last but not least, the blade Non-Stick Orange Shield Coating keeps the blade running cool, reduces pitch build-up and protects against corrosion. Ideal for all woods including wet lumber. This outstanding saw blade is delivered in practical clamshell packaging.

It's a very nice blade. Better than I expected.Fits well and has really nice cuts. It is a finishing blade, so it has slowed up some of my work as I don't change blades for type of cuts. However, it still does a great god and doesnt burn or overheat when I go slowly enough.

I bought this CMT blade due to the accolades it has gotten . However, not the super star blade I thought it would be . CMT is comparable to the other good name brands some blades are over priced and really don’t see why they would be unless it has super materials to make it faster and better cut. Good but not great .

Just received have used it minimally 4 cross-cuts on DeWalt 12” sliding miter. Clean easy cut but can’t tell about longevity of carbide teeth.very thin stock cue cleanly topology soon to comment on overall quality. Therefore can’t rate overall qual. I have other orange CMT blades all 10” and they are excellent at a great price for valueDisregard star rating

Bought this one for a job running maple moldings throughout a home. I've been using Freud blades but I'm very pleased with the quality of the tool and most important, the quality of the cuts. Don't push it hard, let the blade do the work and you will be rewarded with glass smooth cuts. Shuweeeeet! I have NEVER been disappointed with CMT products. EVER! I use their router bits and now their saw blades too.

CMT are some of the best blades for the money. There are better blades out there ie. Forest blades, but you are going to pay big $$$ for them.
