Like the price for the 304 stainless steel , but you do get what you pay for. Most of them have very sharp edges that will slice into your fingers. So I’ve had to file each one smooth to prevent getting cut like I have so many times with this product. I order around 100 each time and about 20% of them don’t work due to needing oil or the just don’t line up properly, but all will need to be filed smooth for your safety. All of this is an easy fix for the company and wish they could see this problem prior to shipping. SO NOW THEY KNOW !

The last time I bought snap hooks was an assortment pack from Harbor Freight. These stainless steel 'mini carabiners' are better than the Harbor Freight cheaper alloy ones by far. The Harbor Freight are alright and work for holding key rings and other lighter tasks. These stainless ones are the real deal though!I waited to review this product until I had time to test them. I've gone through 35 of the 50 and really looked over each of those to check quality control.First the good: The 304 stainless stock is excellent. The springs are also excellent and should work as designed for years. On cheap look alikes I've had issues with the obviously cheaper springs failing which renders them useless. These have much more robust springs that keep the gates closed. After repeatedly operating 35 of these none of the springs got out of line, or failed in any way. A few did have sticky gates in the open position but that should correct itself as they get worn in.The pins that act as a hinge between the gate and the unit appear to also be 304 stainless. This is excellent for function and for longevity. Robust ss pins keep the gates from getting out of line when they're open, and thus keep the gates closing properly every time.So the stock is all excellent. But the machining is slightly less so. The gates all are cut to fit properly and line up to close properly, but there are burrs and even a few tiny shards from the machining. Expect to clean up a few sharp spots with a file or abrasive paper. It will only take a minute.An ideal use for these is replacing a broken spring hook on a dog leash. I am confident in the reliability of these for that task.These are an excellent product that should be more reliable and robust than the typical zinc plated mild steel cheapies you see out there.

As long as you understand the type and strength level of carabiners you need for your particular application, and you find that these are the ones for you, you’ll love them and probably have more than you’ll know what to do with. I keep this little stash of carabiners around for all sorts of chores and projects, and I absolutely love them. They’re sturdy, easy to use and built well. 10/10, will absolutely buy again the second my supply runs low.

These stainless steel snap hooks are quite useful little things. They're just large enough to handle somewhat stronger loads without being too large to be cumbersome. A good size for lots of general uses. And as they come in a 50 count pack, that makes them plentiful enough to be put to be easily put to those general uses.They're small, functional, basic, clean and useful. I didn't find any with overly rough edges. And all 50 in my purchase were fully working right out of the bag. It's good to have a lot of these little things as they're quite handy.

If you want a good quality spring clip or miniature caribbeaners these are of excellent quality and work fantastic so many uses around the house or camping hiking things like that and these Will do the job

So, I got these because I bought a workout machine and instead of changing handle positions to do different workouts, I just bought more handles and need more carabiners for each cable, and these perfect for this purpose. Also, carabiners are just handy to have around...you never know what you may need one for, so a big bundle of 50 of them for the $35 price tag is a sweet deal. That comes out to about $0.70 a piece...when at any big box store, you'd easily pay between $5-15/each all day.I didn't have any issues with any of them being damaged or not working properly, and they are all in excellent condition...no pitting, no markings, no sharp edges, etc.My only issue was from the packaging. They came in an Amazon package that was in good shape, but inside of that was a plastic bag that was shredded up and very dirty, looked like it had been dropped in gravel and left for quite a while... Now, like I said, the snap hooks were in excellent condition BUT I only got 46 of them rather than 50, so I don't know what happened, maybe somewhere in the transportation or the distribution center this particular package got thrown around... I got them for free, so I'm not going to make a fuss or return them, and I'm not going to fault this seller or their product. I just thought it was worth mentioning.

This review is for the CNBTR Stainless Steel Spring Snap Hook Set.Overall: 5 StarsI was surprised when this set of 50 spring hooks showed up on my doorstep - they are very heavy! These are not the cheap aluminum carabiners that you can find everywhere; these are solid and extremely well made. The springs seem tight and functional, and unlike some of the other reviewers, i found no quality issues resulting from the manufacturing process. I do understand the comments about sharp edges and suspect that comes from the design of the snap hook closure. If you look closely at the product photos you'll see that the closure latch isn't just a slot like the cheaper carabiners, but rather a machined fitted part that looks like an arrowhead with a rounded point. The sides are sharp, but that's to secure the latching mechanism. I'm actually surprised at the quality of these hooks. But be aware, steel is three times heavier than the exact same product made of aluminum, and most carabiners are hollow as well - these are solid.Overall: Surprised at the quality - pleasantly.
