The color continues to peel off as ‘metal flakes,’ which get into my drinks and mourn…It has some difficulties to shake warm drinks

The shaker itself is beautiful - great details on the glass and heavy. However, after using it twice, the cap on the lid cracked - it wasn't dropped or handled roughly in any way. I believe it was simply the force of putting it on and taking it off. So, despite loving the way this shaker looks, I can't leave a glowing review. And, of course, I'm *just* outside the return window. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

This cocktail shaker was good for exactly three uses in one month (it doesn't leak, which is great!) but I just hand-washed it after soaking for a couple hours in warm soapy water, and the gold coating separated from the metal underneath really bad. The gold layer bubbled up across the whole surface (see photo of the lid cap), and even when I smoothed it back down on the main lid piece, it's started flaking off, making it not safe to use anymore. Bummer, this is my second try to find a good shaker that looks like this.
