I did know how to use it- comes with instructions but figured it out. Iron it on. Then remove the paper off the non-sticky side and reiron. So far so good!

first of all comes with no instructions. So I tried ironing on this roll, nothing.. not even sticky.. just threw it away, more trouble than it's worth to send it back..

I bought this to hem a bridesmaid's dress with two layers one being nylon chiffon. I could cut each piece to fit. Iron it on with the paper attached. Pull the paper off fold over and iron again and voila! There is your hem!!!! Saves hours on hand stitching such a delicate fabric that will only be worn once.

Product is as advertised. Learning curve involved.

I used this product to put a permanent hem on my wife’s shorts. The tape was easy to work with, it cuts easily with ordinary scissors. It can be a bit difficult to tell which side is which after cutting a piece from the roll; perhaps the manufacturer could put some text on the backing indicating “this side up”, but I understand that would increase cost. I could have marked the backing myself if I was concerned, but it wasn’t a problem. The tape is very thin and flexible. After the backing is peeled away, the tape is clear and nearly invisible (as shown in the second picture). It’s important to apply a good amount of heat to make the glue bond to the fabric. When I thought I was done, a couple spots felt like they were letting go, so I heated them again even longer. That seems to have done the trick, and there doesn’t seem to be any risk of overheating the tape (within reason of course).I’m hoping that this tape holds up well after being washed a few times, I will update my review if I find it to deteriorate unreasonably fast.
