I like that the warmer is automatic and turns off when the mug is removed. Also, temps keep coffee hot at the temp you choose. Good quality and reasonably priced.

If you often get distracted and ignore your coffee or tea until it’s cold, you definitely need this item! Having 3 different temperatures is something MOST other cup/mug warmers don’t offer. If you buy this item you won’t be constantly running to your microwave to heat up your beverages since your drink will stay at just the temperature you choose. It’s a must-have item. Recommended to everyone!

I love how I can work all day from my desk and have a hot cup of tea the entire time. The only thing I really wish this had was an off switch. There is no off switch so - for fire safety reasons - I do have to unplug it every day I leave my desk. One thing to note that it keeps a hot coffee hot, it does not boil a new drink from cold. I will say that I have tried from cold and this will get it warm to mildly hot in 3 hours but that isn’t its purpose. Another recommendation is to have a flatter bottom cup so it can heat it up. I had one low quality mug/cheap mug that must of had some element plastic that did melt to the glass surface therefore a ceramic mug is best. I have had this for 5 months now. I love it. I will definitely buy for all my friends for Christmas this year.

I bought it over a year ago, I use it every day and it still works very well. I really like it because it has 3 temperature settings and it's very easy to clean. I've wanted to buy another one for a long time, but the price was a bit high, and I kept waiting for a discount. Now that it's 20% off, I bought it right away. With winter coming, I can sit anywhere and drink coffee or eat soup, and it'll keep the food warm.Other types are cheaper, but they are not durable and don't get hot, even though they also have 3 temperature settings

Bought 2 of these, one for me and one for the wife. Keeps our coffees warm, especially useful for me as I am a slow drinker. However, don't put your fingers when it's plugged in as it gets hot!

I keep mine next to my computer monitor so I always have that quick caffeine jolt nearby. The three temperature settings are convenient and the LED readouts ensure your brew is as hot as you want it to be. Not sure about reviews saying this warmer makes drinks lukewarm because it doesn't. In fact, it can be used to reheat drinks in just a few minutes. I also like that it's a 120v plug-in and it's not the weak, slow, and temperamental USB powered one. One tip: The on-off switch is on the underside of the warmer. It must be depressed for it to power on. If the red LED doesn't indicate the temperature, then the warmer is not on (or the button is broken). You don't have to turn the unit over either to press the power button, just press down on your mug until the temperature LED turns on. The other hint is that this warmer can get very hot very quickly. While the edges stay cool to the touch, never touch the outlined hotplate area or you might get burned. Wait for it too cool down or use a pair of oven mitts---it's that hot.

I purchased this mug warmer in the dead of winter to keep my tea warm in the evening as I sip tea and watch TV. I have a couple of other warmers which work well enough, but don't keep the beverage quite hot enough. This one has three temperature settings, which provide nice choices. The only negative I have for it is that there is no on/off switch. It only comes on when you have a mug or cup on it, which is nice, but I'd like to be able to leave my cup on it once I finish drinking, rather than having to set it elsewhere. I know, very minor issue, but still ... . The instructions state it will turn itself off after four hours of not moving the cup, although I haven't tested this feature. Overall I highly recommend it. It is shiny black and sleek looking, easy to use and to set the temperature you want. I plan on getting at least one more as a gift. It is more appropriately priced than other items of this type that claim more gimmicks, but don't heat as well.One footnote, it seems to randomly make a very high-pitched beep. It does this when it's in use, but very occasionally when not in use, but plugged in. It is so soft and random, that I wasn't sure if I really heard it, but my wife hears it too. This doesn't detract from it's use, it's just something that makes you go, hmmm ...

I'm starting to think a lot of the bad reviews of these type of units are from people expecting the unit to be a tea/coffee warmer-upper and actually warm up your tea/coffee from cold...This is not designed to do that, something that could go on your desk and make water hot/boil would be dangerous so this just keeps your already hot beverages hot and it does an amazing job!It works amazing keeping a full cup warm on the highest setting and as the cup gets emptier and emptier I lower the temperature, otherwise it gets a little too hot and gets a skin from the cream.I noticed it works best with either a clay mug with a flat bottom or a smaller mug ie around the base as most cups have a rim on the bottom and only the rim part comes in contact with the actual unit.This particular unit gets the hottest at 167°, a lot of them don't go higher than 135°, which is okay with a half empty cup but for a full cup, I'm really glad I got this one that goes to 167°.I left my tea on it by accident the other day and went to bed and it shuts off after a couple hours and the tea had a bit of a skin on top from the cream but that was it 😍Especially love that when I take my tea cup off the unit, the unit turns itself off. I don't have to worry about turning it on and off.The only worry is if someone sets a book down on top of it or something so I have it on my end coffee table where that won't happen.If you had a cat or child or something I would be concerned that they might stand on it or lean on it and accidentally/automatically turn it on.It remembers whatever temperature I had it on last, so I don't have to adjust it necessarily.

Love this for my home office, makes it easy to keep nursing a hot drink over a couple of hours without having to top up with more hot water or use the microwave. I find that only the highest temperature setting is truly useful for keeping your drinks cool enough to be drinkable but still hot enough that you can't just chug what you're drinking. If that was the low setting and there was another setting that was slightly higher in temp;, this would be perfect.
