Fun for the price. Didn't realize the handle was going to be plastic but I just put on some gloves which makes it comfortable to swing. This was definitely a grown man-child purchase. I usually just use it to cut up brush to get kindling for bonfires.

Seems decent for the money, wasnt very sharp had to spend time to gove it an edge. Grind job is very rough.

Like the feel of it and feels like a decent brush machete. Won't use it for anything mush more dense than a bush. I did make a scabbard for it as the one provided felt to wide

As cold steel known, it's quite good quality, should be perfect for cutting bush, not too sharp out of the box but, enough I'd say, decent weight, absolutely horrible handle, very hard plastic and I'm sure it could slip, add some kind of wrap, otherwise it will hurt from grabbing and all the more from the actual impact, very uncomfortable grip, I added a baseball bat rubber grip tape, looks great and feels great now.

The longer length means I don't have to bend over to cut tall plants like frostweed at their base. Much easier than using loppers. The wrapped handle grips well, but is a bit rough.

It's a good sword for cutting and chopping with but you might cut your arm off practicing thrusts on armour. I've never been more afraid than when I trusted at my armor for practice and it folded at 90 degrees and almost cut my arm off. All i can say good for it is it bent back right away and cuts amazingly.
