I am appalled that the pockets on this coat come sewn completely shut. This is not functional they are sewn in such a way that the cost would very likely be damaged or show where the seam had been if you try to have it removed. This was a deal breaker for me.Beautiful color and great quality otherwise. It’s longer than it seems. I am 5’8 and a size 8 it still reached my calves.

I ordered a size 8, which ended up being at least two or three sizes too big. (I am actually a size 6, but in my experience with Cole Haan, it's better to size up. Except with this product, evidently! I would size down, several times over.)The quality of the coat was nice, the material is thick and I like that it's genuine wool. The buttons are heavy and sturdy, and the over all fit is flattering (as long as you get the right size).

I love this coat. It's warm, it's beautiful, flattering and stylish. I originally ordered a size 4 and a size 6 not knowing which would fit me (I'm busty and hippy), but the 4 fit great with extra room for sweaters or layering clothes underneath. If I had any complaints it's the following:It seems to attract all the fuzz in a two room radius, so I throw mine in the dryer on no or low heat and tumble with a dryer sheet.The belt, while extra long for anyone's use, is a buckle style and I would prefer a tie belt (which is what I do even with this one). I think if used buckle style, the excess would be way too excess and look a little silly. But that's my two cents.It comes to about mid-calf on me so perfect for those freezing blustery days. I'm 5'2" and around 124 lbs.

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for so I can wear on a business trip. It is a great Bordeaux color and isn't too bright. It is thick and warm and fits me perfect. I bought a Med. I am 5'5" 140lbs and average build. The belt is super long and weird though. It practically doubles over itself. I have no idea what to do with it. Love the jacket though!

This coat is flattering, with a nice waist and sturdy loops for the belt. The material is not too heavy or rough, and it will keep you warm. Very nice for over a dress or outfit with trousers. Great price. I sized up by one size to accommodate sweaters.
