Portable, especially if you need this on a daily basis for pain relief and good value for money, but the catching on clothes is an issue. Would be helpful to add a cover, like the cover for a rolling pin. You can put it on after its expanded.

Really like the collapsing feature! It is so handy for storing. Also when rolling it gives just the right amount of pressure allowing for a less painful but effective roll. It will be my go to roller from now on.

I've seen and tried this product before from another brand and thought perhaps Fitster made some changes to this collapsible foam roller, but no it is identical as the other ones that look the same. Considering the previous one reviewed was far cheaper but without the extra fitness band, I don't think this one represents the best value... assuming more sellers put this same/similar product up for sale (currently this seems to be the only one left as of writing).The main thing going for this roller is the collapsible nature of it, which not only makes it more portable but also allows you to use a narrower roller is you need that. Because of the collapsible design, it will also be heavier than a standard foam roller. It is really sturdy though. I wouldn't recommend dropping it or anything like that, but it certainly won't bend or break under normal use.This stiffness is a pro and a con. Namely when paired with the TPU (instead of EPP or PU foam) pads it makes a really hard roller. This means it makes a great massage but will take quite a bit of getting used to. It also means it is better suited for large muscles instead of say the back where your spine can certainly feel itself mashed against the roller. But boy after a hard workout it can feel great. Is it better than a smaller diameter knobby PU foam roller? Not really; with that respect the portability would be this one's selling point.So overall it is a practical but slightly less versatile roller. If you want something that hits harder, this would be a good choice though if you don't have the space for a smaller diameter knobby roller.

I was originally a little apprehensive when I zoomed in on the photos of this collapsible foam roller as I thought the raised edges might be a little hard on my back. I also have a foam roller purchased from Costco which is softer, longer, but has higher raised edges and the two are quite comparable.The Fitster foam roller collapses to a height of 5.2", extends to a length/height of 13.8" and also comes with a nice cloth storage bag. As a bonus there was also an included red therapy bad which is useful for exercises while using the roller.Prices of foam rollers seem to vary and it seems to be competitively priced. I would imagine you can purchase a non collapsible roller for less but with the Fitster you do get the product shipped to your door and save on storage space. Depending on the types of exercises you use your foam roller for this may be wide enough but I can still see a use case for some of the wider rollers.I do like the carrying handle built into the ends of the foam roller and for me I expect to basically replace my full size roller. As mentioned in a few other reviews the collapsing/expansion mechanism isn't perfect so you may have to shift some of the raised points a bit but it isn't a huge lift.If space is limited and you don't need a roller that is longer than 13.8" long I would recommend giving this a shot. Given the space savings and portability this is something that will keep your space looking cleaner and can easily be tossed in a backpack or suitcase if you need to bring a roller with you.

I recently purchased the foldable foam roller and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's incredibly easy to use, and it folds up nicely so that it's easy to store. I love that it comes with a carrying handle too, which makes it even easier to take with me to the gym or wherever else I may need it.The foam roller itself is extremely comfortable and provides a great amount of support. I especially love using it after a tough workout to help release tension in my muscles. It's also great for foam rolling my back and stretching out my hamstrings.I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and I'm sure it will last me a very long time. I highly recommend this foldable foam roller to anyone looking for a good quality product that's easy to use and store.
